We loved the ride and views. The pilot was very knowledgeable and informative, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. They make sure you get seated and buckled in properly, definitely recommend this tour for teens and up.
Assigned seating based on weight and size. Unfortunately we were seated on the right in the backseat, so we did not enjoy as good of views along the Hāmākua Valleys as we would have liked. If you are in front or on the left, your views will be spectacular.

My wife and I attended this tour this past week. What a great way to see the Big Islamd. Was fortunate to see some flowing lava on our tour, our pilot said that he was on a tour earlier in the day and it was not flowing. After seeing volcano national park, stop for a fuel stop and then proceeded up the Hawaiian coast. beautiful waterfalls and areas you can only see from a helicopter. We would recommend spending the extra money and sit in the front seat, these helicopters are a smooth ride and provide a beautiful view of the island. Marco was our pilot, also pay attention to the weight limit per passenger.

Amazing.
We saw valleys and waterfalls practically impossible to see without a helicopter.
Due to poor weather on Mauna Loa, we opted for the waterfall landing. That was a definite bucket- list trip I never knew I wanted to take. Marco was a great pilot and quite entertaining and knowledgeable.

The view was amazing. Our pilot James shared a lot of information and showed us amazing waterfalls and volcanos. These places can only be accessed in a helicopter. I also felt very safe with his flying and the quality of the helicopter. We bought the video which was awesome because it was our flight. This flight is worth the money!

This was an unbelievable trip! Dale our pilot discussed the route before we left the building as they had to change things due to weather - the company were happy for reschedule if we wanted to but we all agreed to go and I’m glad we did! We didn’t do the Volcanos national park but went over the top of Mauna Loa and around Mauna Kea. The valleys and waterfalls were jaw dropping and Dale took us to the most amazing ones. The coastline as equally awesome inspiring and I believe you can’t see that from the road so the helicopter tour is a must if you want to see that. Dale was a great pilot, his commentary and knowledge was fantastic. Highly recommended!

OMG! This was AMAZING! A must do if you are visiting the islands. The staff were so nice and helpful. We came from Oahu for the day just to do this flight. I was nervous about the schedule and they helped me plan it all. We learned so much about Hawaii and the volcanos, along with gorgeous views. We landed at a waterfall that felt like we were in paradise. Definitely book the waterfall landing if given the option. Our pilot Kai was friendly and fun. The ride was smooth, and this being our first time in a helicopter I was surprised. This is our favorite part of our visit. Great for all ages.

If you are planning a trip to Japan and want to go somewhere off the beaten path, do it with The Hidden Japan Travel agency (plan an entire bespoke trip with them). They did a spectacular job planning a brief trip to Naoshima and the other art islands in Japan’s Seto Inland Sea for me and a friend. I have no doubt that they could plan a more extensive bespoke trip that would reflect individual interests. The Hidden Japan Travel Agency agent, Bridgitte Kayasith, planned our trip to Naoshima and the other Seto Inland Sea art islands. These art islands are amazing with brilliant architecture, environmental art, traditional art (Monet, Bartlett, etc.), and sensory experiences. Oddly, they are not on the itineraries of any of the US companies that take groups on tours of Japan. The quality of experiences and the level of detail Bridgitte planned ensured that the trip went smoothly and that we had a beautiful and unique experience. During our time on Naoshima, Bridgitte was available 24/7, always able to effectively problem solve. She booked the most magnificent (and impossible to get) beach facing room at the Benesse Beach House, dinner at the museum, and an English-speaking guide for the Art Project. She provided us with an electronic and hyperlink itinerary that we followed on our iPhones! Naoshima is not to be missed--on my list of things to do before you die, it is #2 (#1 is flying business class on Emirates Airlines).

Very professionally run. Our pilot Greg was very personable, a good pilot, and full of local knowledge to share.
The perspective of landscape, craters, lava flows, waterfalls, canyons, and dry vs wet sides of the island completely changed our understanding of Hawai’i. Much of what we saw was only visible from the air. The 90 minutes pass all too quickly.
