    Best turtle town adventure.

    John was an awesome host. It was a small group and he made sure everyone felt safe and included. He has a gift of making everyone (first time kayaking and not so experienced with snorkeling) at ease and his instructions were easy to follow. It was a lovely clear day. We saw many turtles and even a white tip reef shark. He is knowledgeable of the area. He even recommended places to eat in Kihei. I highly recommend John’s tours. It was the highlight of our vacation.

    Great time

    Our guide made this so easy. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. Our guide, Andres, even took the time to help one person in our party find a comfortable way to snorkel and not be left out. He was so much fun and really made the trip great. We wished there had been more kayaking but the snorkeling and guide were amazing.

    Excellent Tour
    Fabulous tour the guide John was very friendly and had a great personality. He was very knowledgeable of the area and guided us to the good spots where we were able to see lots of great sea life and he also took amazing photos. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to get a good snorkeling/kayaking trip that is a little more personal and not overly packed with a bunch of people.

    Great experience swimming with sea turtles!
    We had an amazing day on and in the water with John! Our group consisted of two couples and one family with young children and John was amazing balancing the needs of everyone to make it a great experience for all levels. We swam with tons of sea turtles and which was the highlight of our trip. John was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. Highly recommend!

    The best kayaking in Maui

    My husband and I really enjoy this tour, our tour guide Andres did a fantastic work, He had great energy, good knowledge and He was very inclusive. I would highly recommend it , in addition the kayaking experience was fenomenal, the snorkeling part was fantastic since we saw so many turtles
    it was more than I expected it

    The Experience Exceeded All Expectations

    My wife and I went on the Makena Turtle Town Eco Adventure as kayaking was something we both wanted to do while in Maui. Our tour leader was Andres who was absolutely great. He was very personable and made the tour feel like you were going out with a friend instead of a tour guide. We were optimistic about seeing turtles, but the spot Andres took us to was better than we expected and it was a surreal experience to be swimming right next to them. Andres offers photos for an additional charge which we purchased so we could focus on the experience and not worry about our phone ending up on the ocean floor. Definitely worth the price. Would definitely recommend this tour to others and would do it again if I was in Maui again.

    A must do when in Maui!

    A morning we won't forget! John our guide was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The kayaking was relaxed and the snorkelling was amazing surrounded by turtles! Good for kids and adults alike. John made sure everything was perfect! Will definitely do it again the next time we're in Maui.

    THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

    Family trip of 4.

    Our guide, John was outstanding. He was very personable and genuinely enjoyed being there for us.

    It was my 5 and 7 year olds first time snorkeling. Both of my kids were hesitant to get in. John came over and gave them positive encouragement which they ended up getting in. John pointed out where the turtles were and took 112 photos for us.

    My 7 year old said, "This is the best day of my life!"

    I'll never forget this experience and I don't think my kids will either.

    Thank you Makena Eco tours and especially to John. We will be back for another kayak tour!

    Awesome experience!

    Amazing trip. I went on the snorkeling and kayaking trip with our guide Andres. From the start, his positive energy and enthusiasm set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.

    We began with kayaking through stunning, clear waters, where Andres's lively commentary and knowledge of the local ecosystem made the trip even more enjoyable. He pointed out various wildlife and plant species, adding an educational twist to our fun.

    The snorkeling part was also great. Andres guided us to the best spot, ensuring we saw all the different marine life. He was patient and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe.

    Andres also took some pictures of us. He captured beautiful underwater shots and candid moments, giving us cherished memories to keep forever.

    Overall, this trip was worthwhile. Highly recommend!
