Great time learning how to surf. I had a small group of 3 which allowed a lot of hands on time. Ebb was a great instructor and was patient while I picked up the basics. He made sure I really got the full value of the trip. Would recommend for anyone looking at trying surfing for the first time

David was such a kind and patient instructor! He made sure that I had a good time and he made sure I had all the tools to really be successful and have TONS of fun! The ocean there is AMAZING! There were turtles everywhere too, which was abhuge bonus for me! AMAZING overall experience!

My best friend, my 17 year old niece and I took lessons from Sarge. He was very good at explaining how to apply everyone's past athletic experiences towards surfing. We all were able to catch and ride waves. We had so much fun and want to return for more lessons. Everyone was so nice. We highly recommend giving it a try.

The instructors were so kind and helpful for our kids (10, 8. 5). They gave them great instruction and were supportive the whole way through. I was amazed by the progress the kids made for their first time ever surfing.

This has been an amazing experience! I took my first lesson on Saturday and ended up taking another on Easter Monday before I flew out that night. The Sarge is a wonderful instructor; I didn't expect to improve that much in just two classes. (It's not my first time surfing, but it had been almost a year since I first tried it out.) Would definitely hit up Surf Club Maui again the next time I'm in town, and recommend it to others!

Our instructor was Turtle. He was amazing and these lessons turned out to be one of the funnest parts of our trip.

Took the beginners class with my daughter in law. I had been surfing only once before over 10 years ago. Turtle was a great instructor. He was patient, explained things well, & had a great sense of humour. Always gave constructive feedback.
We had a fabulous time. Fresh sea air, great exercise, awesome beach, great people…….. what more could you ask for?

Turtle was an amazing instructor. We caught many waves with his help. The conditions were great and the surf spot was perfect for beginners. I was nervous we would be taken out to deep waters but I could touch the bottom the whole time. Great experience and I highly recommend Surf Club Maui!

I paid for 9 college students to take surfing lessons with Surf Club Maui while on a class trip, and every one of them said it was awesome! In addition to multiple experienced instructors, there was a photographer to record their triumphs. Thanks for a great experience!
