This tour was excellent! Our early morning started with tour guide, Eric, picking us up at our condo. He was on time and immediately welcoming. Eric made us feel comfortable and clearly explained the itinerary for the day. He allowed for some flexibility throughout the day, considering weather and the small groups’ choice of where and when we wanted to stop. We were provided a tasty breakfast and lunch from subway. Eric always made sure to check in with us to see if we needed a beverage or a snack throughout the day. He was also good at making us aware ahead of time when and where the washrooms stops were. We thoroughly enjoyed his background knowledge of the sites and personal stories throughout the ride. He made our children feel safe, comfortable and a part of the group experience. We appreciated his sense of respect for nature, people, and culture. Our experience was comfortable and engaging. Though this tour was a bit pricey for a family, it was well worth it. We recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about Maui’s beautiful land and the culture of its people. Please keep in mind, an appropriate monetary tip at the end of the day. Eric deserves it.

I want to say that this was the Best Excursion I’ve ever been on and it was all because of Eric our Driver! The knowledge this man had is absolutely amazing. Our party of 12 throughly enjoyed it. Whether he was talking history of the Island or the stories about the celebrities he has met on the Island, the 9 Hour trip flew by. Heck the Guy even showed us how to jump off a 30 ft cliff into the water. If you book with Aloha Eco Adventures, make sure you ask for Eric to be your Guide!!!!!

Eric is amazing! We learned so much on our tour. He has an incredible amount of historical knowledge of Maui.
Highly recommend this tour if you are wanting someone who truly loves his job and loves his home.
Highlight was cliff jumping, he coached us through it and took the leap himself!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on the guided bus tour of the Road to Hana, and it was all thanks to our amazing guide, Eric! From start to finish, the 13-hour journey was nothing short of spectacular.
Eric was the perfect guide—professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the beauty and history of Maui. His fun and entertaining commentary kept us engaged the entire time, and we learned so much about the local culture, history, and hidden gems along the way. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe on the winding roads, and his sense of humor made the trip so enjoyable!
The tour itself was stunning—breathtaking views, lush rainforests, and unforgettable stops along the way. Eric knew all the best spots and even added a few surprise highlights that weren’t in the guidebook. His storytelling brought the journey to life and made the long day fly by.
If you’re considering a Road to Hana tour, I can’t recommend this experience enough. Ask for Eric—he’ll turn your adventure into a memory of a lifetime!

My family 2 kids 15 and 12 went on this trip. Starts early but worth it. Eric our guide was amazing. He told us the history of the island as we drove to Hana. He took us to places that were do beautiful. The ride was very comfortable and nice. We even jumped off a cliff into the waterfall so fun! Food could have been better, I would recommend you pack your food for the trip unless subway is fine for you. I didn’t enjoy my sandwich I asked for dry and mayonnaise was put on it so I didn’t eat it. Snacks and drinks were plentiful but if you like your own I would bring it. Long day but well worth it. I would not want to drive this drive because it’s very windy and hard to manage if you’re not used to this drive. The black sand beach were we had lunch was terrific! Would recommend this tour because it’s small group and you’re not stuck with a bunch of weird people that got an online deal. I got stuck on a boat with a tour deal and made the tour worse. Spend the extra money and have an enjoyable experience. The people we went with were fantastic people and very enjoyable.

Wonderful day! Eric was an excellent driver and was extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of Hawaii. He was very kind, courteous and safety conscious. Loved all his knowledge of history that he shared. He definitely loves his job and really was the perfect guide. Views were amazing! WOW!

This was the best tour we have ever been on! Eric was our tour guide and he truly gave us an unforgettable experience! From the pick up to the drop off, there was never a dull moment. Definitely one for the books! He patiently walked me through jumping off of a waterfall and took the time to capture my daughter and I’s experience. Thank you Eric for your patience and kindness and Aloha Eco Adventures for such an amazing memory!

Wow!!!! Fantastic day. We've been to Maui several times but never had gotten to do the road to Hana. It was worth the wait.
First, we were fed, given drinks (non- alcoholic) and snacks all day long, starting with breakfast. We made countless stops for pictures, shopping, points of interest and were regaled with stories of spirits and the history of Hawaii. We have been to the islands many times and I learned more today than my other trips combined.
We also swam in Waterfall holes and hot to jump off a 25' cliff over a waterfall!
Our guide, Eric, put 1000% into the trip, making sure everyone was enjoying the trip.
First, we were fed, given drinks (non- alcoholic) and snacks all day long, starting with breakfast. We made countless stops for pictures, shopping, points of interest and were regaled with stories of spirits and the history of Hawaii. We have been to the islands many times and I learned more today than my other trips combined.
We also swam in Waterfall holes and hot to jump off a 25' cliff over a waterfall!
Our guide, Eric, put 1000% into the trip, making sure everyone was enjoying the trip.

Yes, the van could have handled another passenger and they are the most accomodating excursion company I have ever worked with. If you tell them what your issue is they will resolve it to your satisfaction. Have a great time, we did!
