My daughter did a private lesson with Nick and had a great time! After a little practicing of the fundamentals he had her out on the water and she had the time of her life!

Nick provided an excellent surf experience for our family. Very friendly and knowledgeable about surfing and what Maui has to offer for visitors.

My wife and I took multiple lessons with Nick and had a great time and felt like we upgraded our confidence and technique. We are beginner/intermediate surfers and he was able to review some pointers on land and then focus on our each of our weaknesses in the water.
Nick is very professional and easy to talk to. He helped with all the equipment we needed and knew how to navigate the surf breaks.
We highly recommend.

Had a great time learning how to surf with Nick! He was very helpful instructor for my first time, and really helped me get the hang of it right from the start. Was very flexible in terms of scheduling, and took me to a great beginner's location. Within a few tries I was able to catch a wave and did so about a dozen times after that!

Our family and friends took a surf lesson and can’t say enough good things about it. Nick and Jonah got us up and surfing in no time. They were so much fun to be with and were phenomenal instructors. An experience of a lifetime! Just wish we had done it twiice instead of once! Highly recommend!

While vacationing in Maui I wanted to try surfing. It was my first experience surfing, so I sought out a lesson hoping to give me the best chance of success.
They have you book through a third party called Viator. From there Maui Surf and Snorkel gets in contact with you via text and confirms your lesson. Also, gives direction to the surf location, let you know what to bring (towel, sunscreen, water, etc..). The whole process was easy and convenient. And they are just a text away if you have any questions.
I would recommend doing a private lesson. The one on one instruction is invaluable. I've had experience with board sports growing up. The instructor could tell I was capable of getting up and we got in the water after just a few instructions on the beach. After my third attempt I was surfing a wave. The wave were smaller and great for a beginner.
I can't recommend these guys enough. The experience was everything I hoped for and more. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
