It was too dark in the water outside to see much of anything. I did see the wreckage of an airplane. No turtles and no large fishes. A lot of small fishes swimming around. You would be better off going to an aquarium.

Had a great time! Beautiful views of Diamondhead and Honolulu from boat going to the dive site. Tour guide was very funny and informative. Saw so many fish and turtles. Unfortunately no sharks! Highly recommend this tour

Things like this do not excite me much and am quite an adrenaline junky. It was not scary one bit. A very slick operation. The crew/team were excellent, really friendly and most informative. We went down to 107ft and saw so many things down there.
If you can only do one trip whilst here, this is the one! Forget the sunset cruise and Turtle snorkel, they're a complete waste of money compared to this.

Another amazing adventure! We took a short ferry boat ride to meet the submarine! The submarine ride was very peaceful and relaxing! You have to climb down a ladder into the port hole. I’m a senior with a troubled hip problem and I had no problem climbing down or up. Truly remarkable experience.

While this excursion is a bit pricey, I would highly recommend it. As a non-scuba diver, that’s probably as close as I’ll ever come to diving any sort of wreck or reef. We saw lots of fishes, numerous different kinds, plus some turtles. With excellent details about what we were seeing provided by the staff (the delightful Bailey in our case). Plus fantastic views of Honolulu, Waikiki, & Diamond Head from the boat taking us out to/from the sub. All in all, a great experience.

Booking this excursion cost a pretty penny for our family of 3 but heck, it was our epic vacation in Hawaii for a first time and for many milestones so why not?! Had to calm a few nerves, seeing it was so soon after the Titan submersible tragedy, but I was always reassured that we were in good hands in the world’s largest commercial submarine. Our toddler is obsessed with sea creatures and he had a ball! We were ecstatic too. We cherish that we did this and in Hawaii. Totally worth the experience.

This experience was above and beyond our expectations. We choose the first time slot of the day and feel that was by far the best to see so clearly underwater. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There aren't many swimmers in my family so we figured this was a great way for them to see the marine life in Hawaii instead of snorkeling or scuba diving. However, like other have said, its not an extremely exciting ride but interesting and entertaining enough. Your personal experience will be highly dependent on your expectations and visibility on the day you dive. With a bit of luck, visibility will be good on that day. For us it was so-so but we were fortunate enough to see quite a lot of fish and even sea turtles at 100 ft depth. If you've never tried this than I would recommend it but its definitely a one and done experience for me. My daughter loved it so children definitely get a kick out of it.

The temperature was comfortable in the sub. The boat ride out to the sun is fine but be ready for the sun.

I don’t believe so. You travel on a good sized boat out to the submarine, the boat ties to the submarine, you walk off the boat to the submarine, walk over the deck of the submarine, then climb down the hatch into the submarine. There are rails all around so unless you fall overboard there is no contact with the water. Have fun!

There are two subs, the original which holds 48 passengers, and the larger premium which i advise to book on with wider seats and 65% greater view port area (portholes) this holds 64 passengers.
