My husband and I did a full day adventure with Connor. He was an amazing guide, and knowledgeable of the island. We wanted to avoid touristy places and have a more local experience. Connor was very understanding of our request and he showed us the best of the best. We did snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and visited several view points of the island, among other places. If you are looking for an amazing time, I recommend Mahina 100%.

Amazing Day!! Connor was the best! Super flexible super patient!!! Took us to see the real island and to have a bite of the real Hawaii!!!! Thanks Connor you made our trip worth every second!!!! By the way….. he got great music!!!

We had a GREAT time with Ryan on our full day adventure! He showed us all of his favorite spots on Oahu. He helped us find a great spot to snorkel and even taught my son how to surf! We ate at his favorite local spot, and we really got a good feel for island and all it has to offer. It was a fabulous first day!

Conner our tour host was amazing! The 8 hour day was filled with adventure adrenaline but also an emphasis on safety. Conner phoned us prior to our tour day asking many questions about our interests and on the day of our tour provided us with an amazing itinerary that exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Mahina Hawaii and tour host Conner for anyone who is looking for a day of fun, adventure and a custom itinerary.

Aloha! We appreciate the 5 star review, but we think you left it the wrong company. However we do agree, Pearl Harbor is an amazing historical place everyone coming to Oahu should visit, and we support our hardworking troops in Hawaii and the US. Ironically you left the review on the day after the attack of December 7th.

Our family had the opportunity to tour Oahu with Mahina Hawaii and tour guide Connor. We did a full day adventure tour. This was the best day of our vacation. Connor was absolutely amazing!! Not only did we hit all the good spots, Connor took us to many secluded look outs. He also was very knowledgeable on the lands and environment we were exploring. Could not recommend him and this tour enough!

My family and I enjoyed two wonderful full-day adventures with our guide, Connor, last week. On the first day, October 16, we explored the east side of Oahu, including, amongst other things, sea-kayaking to and hiking up Mokoli’i (Chinaman’s Hat). On the second day, October 20, we explored the west side of Oahu, including hiking to the Pink Pillbox, standup paddling at Pokai Bay with a mantra ray, and exploring Makua Beach and Mermaid Cave. On both days, the adventures were fun and memorable experiences, and Connor was an excellent guide and great company. I highly recommend the full-day adventure as an excursion and Connor as a guide. Both of our days with Mahina Hawaii were highlights of our trip to Oahu.

This was the only thing we had booked prior to arriving in Hawaii and this was the BEST decision we made! So happy to have booked it in the beginning of our trip as Connor took us through a huge loop of the Island, we saw and did so many Amazing things! Originally I had thought it was a good chunk of money for a party of 4 adults, but it was worth every penny! It was an Awesome day which made the decision extremely easy for us to book a private surf lesson with Connor for one in our group for another day on vacation. Connor was very knowledgeable about the Island and so fun to hang with, we would have hung out with him all week! This was a Moms & Sons trip for us; so we had an array of ages from 20 years to 73 years and ALL in our group would highly recommend Mahina Adventures and of course Connor! Thank you so much for a Great Adventure Day Connor!!

We just returned from Oahu. We spent 3 nights in Waikiki and 6 nights on the north shore. On our second day in Waikiki, we spent a full day with Chace. We had such a great day!! It was a great introduction to the whole island. We went snorkelling, SUP up rivers, ate lunch at a great food truck, hiked to a waterfall and just got a lot of insights into Hawaii. We went to the north and east of the island all in one day! We spent the rest of the week reflecting on how much we had done with Chace and how good it was to have him give us pointers for the rest of the week. The yummy food truck we had eaten wasn’t there after that day. Lucky we experienced it with Chace. Super nice guy and guide! PS - thanks for the awesome photos!

We had been planning our trip to Oahu for several months and came across Mahina. It sounded like a cool way to experience the island without having to drive, do any of the planning, etc. We were a little hesitant because it was one of more expensive tours we were considering, but eventually decided it was a go and booked it!
Leading up to our trip I communicated a bit with them and explained I had a pretty decent itinerary already and wanted to make sure we were doing something different than I had already planned on this day. It was taken into consideration and was told I’d receive communication with what would be planned.
I did have to reach out the day before because I hadn’t received any information and was contacted pretty quickly after that. We discussed some of my interests, what we’d be comfortable doing and not doing, etc.
We were picked up on time by Connor and had a nice flowing day ahead of us. We had a surf lesson, went snorkeling, did a small hike, stopped for lunch, did another small trail to see a banyan tree, stopped at the beach where people kayak to Chinaman’s Hat for pictures, and stopped at two lookouts, one of which they accommodated for the sunset.
I think this kind of excursion is perfect for people that don’t do a lot of planning for themselves. Connor was great, we had great conversation, and he definitely checked in with us during the excursion. I don’t think there was a lot of room to make changes to the itinerary because we did drive out about 90 minutes to start the activities to begin with.
The highlights of the trip was the surfing and seeing sea turtles while surfing.
I’d certainly recommend the excursion for people who aren’t sure what they’ll be doing in Oahu. This group will have a nice day planned out for you and you’ll have plenty of fun. Take advantage of all these guides being all about adventure. They’ll keep up with you. I’m glad we brought our own cameras (most of the included pictures our ours). We didn’t get too much footage from them in the water and I really wish we would’ve got footage from surfing, but understand why it wasn’t exactly possible; maybe next time!
