We were lucky to find these guys. In one day we saw all the highlights of the Medina, Jewish Quarter, and pottery place. Abdil was an awesome guide. Recommend the all day tour!!!!

nous avons visité la médina et les alentours de Fes avec un guide charmant, parlant correctement le français. La journée était agréable si l’on oublie les visites chez le marchand de tapis, le fabricant de poteries, de zéliges et les vêtements en cuir…
Pour nous, visiter une ville, ce n’est pas être forcés à dépenser notre argent là où on ne veut pas !
À côté de ça, on est passé allègrement devant une médersa que l’on pouvait visiter sans s’y arrêter, le musée du bois et menuiseries idem…
Heureusement nous avons refait la visite seuls et pu rattraper tout ça !
Pour nous, visiter une ville, ce n’est pas être forcés à dépenser notre argent là où on ne veut pas !
À côté de ça, on est passé allègrement devant une médersa que l’on pouvait visiter sans s’y arrêter, le musée du bois et menuiseries idem…

Fantastic tour in Fez
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Fes tour. We started early in the morning and included a driver so we could go to some of the more remote locations out of town. We visited the palace gates, the ghetto and the synagogue, and the old tower where we learned many things about the history of the city and its people. Then we explored the city on foot for some time, as the guide taught us a lot, took us to lots of interesting sites and winding streets, making it fun for the kids (8 and 10). We have been to many handicraft shops (tanning, weaving, rug, argan oil and pottery) but since Fez is the town with the most attention and authentic craftsmanship we were able to show you the best places and we never felt pressured. We had a lot of time we really enjoyed.

Beware of the tour guides. They will take you into all the places that are overpriced and plan on ripping you off. The worst part is, they will pretend to haggle with you. One of the pottery places tried charging me 300€ for a tagine. In the souks they are 10€. It’s a chance for the guides to get tips from the local shops they work with to rip us off. I do not recommend having a guide with you while shopping. They also receive a commission when the shop owner sells you something.

Hello,
We are very sorry that you have had a horrible experience with the guides in Fez.
However, you did not take this tour with us. Please note that many of the scammers, unlicensed guides and even licensed guides out there use other company names in order to avoid getting the blame themselves for their scams.
We have proof that this tour didn’t take place with us as we can provide a full archive of our Guided tour that were sold via Viator and no such tour took place during the date or in the dates that are close to the date of the review.
We have reached out over and over again to TripAdvisor and showed them our Viator booking records, yet their policy does not allow them to remove a review regardless of if it was posted to the wrong business or not. We also reached out to you TripAdvisor but received no reply.
So, we please ask you again to verify the date and the company with which you took this tour and had this experience.

Such a wonderful tour! The guide, Younes, was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The driver, Said, was also wonderful. Both were polite and very flexible with the schedule. Both guide and driver went above and beyond to make sure we had an opportunity for sightseeing as well as shopping. We had the opportunity to try local street food and they helped us find pastillas and recommended restaurants for later on in our stay. The pace of the day was leisurely and we never felt rushed. A wonderful day in Fes! Definitely do this tour. You won't regret it!

Great way to get to know the Médina of Fes and a lot more about the history of Fes. Our guide Hassan was kind and knowledgeable and showed and explained a lot. He is an excellent guide. We fullheartly recommend this tour. Not only is is a good way to find your way through the Médina but also so much better with all the knowledge from a good local guide. These guys were great and had answers to all of the questions that arose while visiting Fes. I would recommend getting a feel for the city first and then taking a tour like this to get a better understanding of history and culture of Fes.

This tour was very helpful, interesting and informative. We were taken in a very nice SUV around the city to different points of interest. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and culture and was very patient answering our many questions. Part of our tour included walking through the Médina and the leather tanneries which was very interesting. The Médina in Fes is so much bigger than the one in Marrakech. 9400 passageways, some only wide enough to walk through. It is overwhelming, and it was great to see parts of it with a guide. It was a private tour which made it comfortable to ask questions and easy to hear the guide. I would definitely recommend it!

Buenos días. Tenemos previsto un viaje a fez con la familia. En total somos 7 personas de edades 77, 75, 43 (2 pax), 15, 12 y 10. Nos gustaría poder contratar una excursión guiada por Fez, una visita de dos días al desierto y a Chaouen. Llegamos a Fez el día 31 y estamos hasta el 7, día que volvemos a Madrid. ¿Nos pueden hacer un presupuesto de esas excursiones para el grupo?

Yes, he spoke English well and our tour was 6 hours. I think you can easily limit your tour to half a day, just let the guide know your time limit and what interests you the most. Price per person is what TripAdvisor indicates.
