The chefs were amazing and taught us how to do mint tea. The class was well organized and we were included in every step. And the food tastes great! We met many other travelers. 10/10 would recommend. Plus they sent us the recipes for later and gave advice on tajine purchasing.

Nicely paced and fun. Relaxed atmosphere with a mixed group, lots of laughs! The group prepared ALOT of food - so go with an appetite. Jardin Majorelle is nearby but be sure to book a time slot of 1330 or later in advance.

The activity was great from start to finish!
The short walk to pick up our products just before, the welcome of Khmisa at her home, the learning of Moroccan tea and the warm atmosphere throughout this cooking course.

It was a great experience that I recommend to everyone. I am back home after my trip to Marrakech and I have already started making the recipes I learned during my course. Both ladies are super friendly.

The ladies were very friendly, good teachers and welcoming. We all did preparation and cooking, making traditional and delicious Moroccan food. Then we sat down and ate it al! So tasty! Brilliant experience. Thank you

Love love loved this cooking class! We went to market to select fresh produce and then made 4 appetizers + 2 tagines + 1 desert in a local home! Everything was delicious and we got to meet great people from around the world ☺️

We had an incredible time and it was even better than we expected from the already great reviews. The meeting point was easy enough to find and then we walked through the Souk to a market where we bought fresh produce and headed to a lovely Moroccan home to cook.
We first were taught how to make proper Moroccan mint tea ("no bubbles, no tea!") and then we worked together between the ~15 of us to cook two tagines and a few different sides. Everyone got involved doing different things. The food was delicious and we learned some cooking techniques which were completely new to us, even though we are enthusiastic amateur cooks.
Everything was super friendly and conducted in both English and french as we had a very mixed group. We had a great time and the food was super tasty - we ate it all with fresh bread afterwards. We definitely would come again to learn to cook something different!
At the end you have the opportunity to purchase some Moroccan spices if you wish.
Can fully recommend to anyone with a bit of time in Marrakech.

We met Layla and her partner and group and picked up all the food at the local market. Then went to Layla's aunts home to cook a number of starters, veggie and chicken tagine and a dessert. The time was very enjoyable and the food was delicious. Highly recommend

This was an amazing experience. From selecting fresh produce and chicken from the market to chopping veggies and learning how to make Chicken Tagine and beautiful side dishes, this couldn’t have been better. Our classmates were lovely and because it was a small class, we all got to do a lot of participation. I’d love to do this again.
Our guide was in constant communication with us about changing the time of our class and was prompt to our pick up location at the smaller Mosque.

Unique experience. Very appreciable the moment you go to the local Point of Sale to buy fresh ingredients, you immerse yourself in a sea of bright colors, scents and various aromas. The very cozy environment and the size is familiar, it seems to cook at home. The very active lesson and each of the participants can really help to pray really good dishes. Also for children very active and formative experience. Highly recommended!

Hi, just wondering if the cost of ingredients is extra to the cost of the experience. Or if ingredients/shopping is included in the price?

All ingredients are included in the price. Shopping in the market was a quick stop for vegetables and bread. At the end of our meal, you coild purchase baggies of the spices used in the dishes. i purchased the Ras el hanout since it is really a homemade mixture I couldn't replicate.

You don’t go into the main Souk area, but shop for food in the local streets around where the cookery course is held.
