We were lucky enough to join a small tour of 6 people for a day trip to the Atlas Mountains. I had previously gone on another separate tour during a visit to Marrakech in 2017 and wanted to visit to mountains this time.
Communication was excellent in the lead up and our guide was on time and in a clean, comfortable, and air conditioned car.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and a very safe driver.
We visited a women’s Argan Oil collective and then went on to the Ourika Waterfall which is well worth a visit. It is a moderate climb so make sure you have comfortable shoes!
From there we had lunch at a Berber families home. It was delicious and a wonderful peaceful spot.
The Mountains were beautiful and cooler than the very hot Marrakech in July.
The tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. You truly are in safe hands and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

our tour guide ADIL was amazing from pickup to drop off. Highly insightful and very informative, kept the outing one of the most interesting highlights of my holiday. His knowledge and understanding of key landmarks and facets is second to none, kept us hydrated, motivated and fully engaged, it was an absolute pleasure hiking up the Atlas Mountains and covering the amazing valleys. We had the best lunch with a berbar family - some of the best tajine and soups in the land - and the family who prepared the meal highly hospitable and very receptive.
Overall It’s a long day, good footware for hiking is a must, absolute necessity. In closing be prepared for an delightful experience that you will most likely never forget.

An amazing guide beautiful experience Couples Brilliant trip to the mountains with our fantastic guide
Ahmed, was excellent and his knowledge was impressive with a high level of English. We really enjoyed asking him questions about the different parts of the trip and he was so lovely and easy going, great explaining details and knowledge about the wonderful areas we visited . The atlas mountains are stunning and the trip gives you great opportunities to explore them in a less touristy way. We had a fabulous time
The food at the berber house was 5/5 . Great day out with people who made us feel really at home.

We had a wonderful Tripp! Ahmed is an excellent and funny guide who knows a lot about his culture and area.
We had the best local cuisine ever on a very beautiful spot in the mountains.
And if you’re lucky Ahmed will join you in a snowball fight! Haha we had lot’s of fun!

My guide, Ahmed is a great tour guide. He tries to do his best to make the trip as best as possible. We can also trust him. He always replied to my questions before the tour and very polite. I strongly recommend the tours by him (Morocco Insiders Tours). As for this trip, I am very glad that I could join this tour because I could see the beautiful scenery and know the life of the Berbers.

I went to the Atlas Mountains in October 2021, I was kindly greeted by Ahmed who picked up us promptly and gave us a very insightful tour. The day was busy, weather was great and Ahmed was very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and accommodated any requests. We had a lot of fun with Ahmed, he is very kind and looks afters his clients very dearly. We cannot recommend him enough and we look forward to booking with you again Ahmed.

An amazing guide to the Atlas Mountains, Essaouira under a well organised trip makes for a lovely experience. Much praise goes to Ahmed for this one ! Truly an exceptional human. I had such a lovely time in his company, that I believe we would be in touch for many years to come. So yes don’t hesitate just book !!!

We had a really lovely day with Ahmed travelling from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, the journey was very comfortable and we chatted away. Not only was Ahmed telling us about Moroccan history, local cultures and traditions he was also interested in us too. He is enthusiastic and very professional. The views were stunning and Ahmed ensured there were lots of opportunities to stand on the mountain and breathe in the fresh cool air. we felt very well looked after even after we said goodbye as he said to get in touch if we had any problems during the rest of our stay. Excellent service!

What an amazing tour. No doubt helped by our excellent guide Ahmed. Nothing was too much trouble from asking for breaks to take photo's to arranging our meal and mountain guide. Ahmed is very knowledgable, answering all of our questions. He managed that relationship between guide and clients that can be awkward, being available when needed but allowing us time to explore without him. Perfect and a huge thank you x
