Our journey through Morocco was an amazing experience with lots of glimpses into the art, culture, history, landscape, hospitality and cuisine of this fascinating country. Mohamed planned the journey carefully in consultation with us.
Our two-week route was a roundtrip through Morocco by Van that started in Marrakech. From there we drove all the way to the dunes in Merzouga, passing the high Atlas, Ouarzazate, beautiful kasbahs, the amazing Dades Valley and the Todra Gorge Canyon. From there, we drove via Val de Ziz, Midelt, Ifrane, Fez, the roman town of Volubilis, Meknes and Ouzoud back to Marrakech.
Mohamed's program for the cities took us to their lively Souks, fascinating historical sites like palaces and koran-schools, and hidden Riads. He also knows the best guides for the city tours.
Special activities in the program were the various talented craftswomen and men that we visited, amongst others a carpet-weavery lead by a women's cooperative, a women led rose oil manufactury, a manufactory of mosaics and ceramics, a little bakery, a tannery and a Moroccan painter.
A highlight were the two days in the desert with it's amazingly beautiful dunes that included a sunset camel ride, an exciting 4wheel-drive in the dunes, visiting Berber nomads at their tents and tasting camel-milk.
Especially beautiful was the hike in the Dades Valley through the rock formations of the Monkey's Fingers, which really showed the beauty of Moroccan nature and Mohamed's expertise in hikes.
It was also very interesting to listen to Mohamed talking about the Berbers and their way of life and his knowledge about Morocco in general. He also always knew great places for food, and organized a few private dinners, where Riad's owners cooked for us. In general, we loved the aromatic Moroccan cuisine with its typical salads and various delicous starters, aromatic tajines and great couscous dishes.
We were always well accomodated, with the accomodation covering a broad sprectrum from a self-built house to the wonderful Dar Blues in Boumalne Dadès and the Riad El Amine in a former palace.

Nous avons fait une visite avec des amis qui visitaient les gorges du Todra et du Dadès, puis nous sommes allés dans le désert. Nous étions là deux nuits et était génial, totalement déconnecté du monde. Nous nous sommes également arrêtés ailleurs à Merzouga et avons découvert les vrais berebers. Mohamed est un garçon très gentil et serviable, il sait tout des endroits que vous allez visiter et vous vivrez une expérience authentique.

Mohammed bring us to see the Magnificent places in Marocco, he guide us from Fez, the we go to Merzouga where we spent the night in the desert inside berber tents,,arriving there by a splendid walk riding a dromedary. Next day we go to the street market Of Rissani, then to the Dadès and Todras gorges. At the end of the day we reach Ait ben Haddou where we spent the night. The last day we head to marrakesh passing by the wonderful Tizi N'Tichka pass. At the end was 3 wonderful and unforgettable Days! Thanks again Mohammed and Hope to see you and your places soon!

Lust nach dieser langen Corona Zeit zu Hause auf eine abenteuerliche Reise nach Marokko ? Dann seid ihr mit Reiseführer Mohammed richtig!
Wir waren Dezember 2019 mit ihm unterwegs!
10 Tage in Marokko: Marrakesch, Wandern in den Bergen, 2 Nächte in der Wüste, dann 2 Tage auf Kosten von Agadir und Essaouira! Zurück in Marrakesch. Unser Führer Mohammed ist sehr freundlich! Er zeigte uns tolle Orte und erklärte in perfektem Französisch und Englisch. Gute Mischung aus Natur, Kultur und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir haben uns immer sehr sicher gefühlt und unsere 3 Söhne mochten ihn sehr!
Eine Reise die wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden! Wenn Marokko dann nur mit Mohammed!

Awesome tour with Mohamed as our guide. Led us through the desert, local homes, and cities. Learnt so much and enjoyed every last minute. Couldn’t come more recommended.

It was a 3-day great organized trip to Sahara desert. We saw fantastic places and we met amazing people! Mohamed was our guide! He knows everything about Morocco and he was always happy to answer our questions. He is such a pleasant character! With Mohamed and the whole team, we felt safe and had an incredible time. I highly recommend it!! Thank you Mohamed and Numidian Morocco Tours! You made our trip to Morocco unforgettable!

Me and two friends used Ali to take us on the most fantastic trip to the sahara . He was so knowledgeable and made us feel safe, very well fed and friendly . I would highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of visiting marrakech or the amazing sahara
