TO AVOID!!!! THE BENEFIT IS NO LONGER THE SAME AS IN PREVIOUS COMMENTS

To avoid absolutely!!!
And I'll explain the reasons!
I read a lot of reviews before booking... everything seemed to me to be in line with my expectations... except that the formula has changed... but no one tells you obviously!
So our meeting is at 3:30. Everything starts well the bus is on time. We go to pick up 3 other couples ... I think to myself at worst there are eight of us on the camp that I saw in pictures... it seems okay to me if each at his little table to eat everything goes well.
We make a small stop in an argan oil cooperative... well we play the game... without being excited since it smells like a tourist trap... then we wait for the driver... who in the meantime and went to get........ a sandwich.... after a waiting time we go back to the site... and there is all I wanted to avoid.... I find myself with my companion in a place that looks like a factory for tourists... the Guide informs us that there could be an hour wait to fair a camel ride....finally she manages to make us pass after a little wait... 10 minutes quickly done well!!!! And the next one!
Quad and camel rides are in the same place...so I let you imagine the mixing of people, the noise and the lack of tranquility in the desert!
A building acts as a place where you will have your meal with 200 other people!!!! There is a swimming pool (100 dirhams)... so no one swims there....
All the people who are with us on the bus break down as much as we do to see the trap we fell into!!!
A show for tourists is offered... to make the pill pass.... but it does not pass...
Our Guide realized that his small group was completely disgusted with this service that was not for anyone up to the task!
She did everything she could to make us smile.... try to make this tourist trap moment a good time....
Thank you for trying everything. Really everything!
Then this review is well addressed to TripAdvisor who wants to sell services and who does not hesitate to make tourist parks!
I advise you to seriously avoid this service if you do not want to end up eating with 200 people in the desert, 10 minutes of camel quickly done well in the middle of quads and a colonia of buses in the night at the queue in the desert that brings all tourists back to Marrakech....
RUN AWAY!

Great family experience: full eyes

Very welcome from the whole team: great driver, organizer: dressed in traditional dress. Camel ride, Moroccan tea , Tajine dinner on sunset , fire with Moroccan songs and music. Excellent Time Past and Good Value Award. To do! Thank you it was perfect.

Marrakech Sunset Camel Ride and Dinner in the Desert.

Great escape from the crowded streets of Marrakech that starts with a stop at the argan oil manufacturing place in Agafay where you are served traditional Moroccan tea and get to know the process of making the oil and other products made from the argan nut.
After that you proceed to the deser to experience the camel ride and traditional Moroccan cuisine and songs and dance by the camp fire.
Brilliant place to take pictures of the sunset as well as stars overlooking the valley. Outstanding performance by the hosts that involves dancing and singing under a starry night.
One recommendation: if visiting between November and February prepare warm clothes as it gets pretty cold in the desert.

A new experience

More than punctual driver who picked us up from our hotel. The welcome at the camp is very warm with a tea before taking a short camel ride (only 10 minutes but it's enough). The meal was very good. We ended the evening around a campfire to the rhythm of traditional Berber music.

Camels, dinner and sunset

Transportation from the Medina made this excursion very easy. Stopped by a women’s cooperative that makes argan oil products. Went thru a Berber village damaged by the earthquake. The guides dressed us up like desert travelers, making this even more fun. The camel ride was short, just long enough. Dinner of chicken tangine, vegetable soup, and fruit in cream was very good. We ate as we watched the sunset. After dinner we were entertained by a quartet of traditional Berber musicians and a camp fire. Would recommend this activity.

Superb activity. Short camel ride (less than 10 minutes) but sufficient. For the meal we had soup, a tagine and a fruit salad. We didn't choose but we liked the tagine which was really good. They also offer a tagine for vegetarians. The very cool evening entertainment we really enjoyed the moment without forgetting the very beautiful setting of the desert.

Camels and sunset

It’s worth it for the sunset and “moonrise”, for the friendliness of the guides and the camels! Please note that the desert is the Agafay and not the Sahara!

Excellent tour to get a taste of Morocco at its best.

This tour was the highlight so far. Excellent communication from tour operators to ensure smooth pick-up arrangements. Transport in minivan with very welcome AC. One stop en route at Argan Oil production factory (weren’t pushy about making purchase which was unusually pleasant) . We even befriended 2 lovely lads from our own city which added to the experience. Met with 2 other groups on arrival at Agafay. Short camel ride but plenty of time to get the obligatory photos in Nomadic dress. Watched the sunset from the dune (partial cloud obscured the sun but was still stunning). After dark we all sat around a log fire and ate a very satisfying 3 course meal. Veg Soup with bread followed by chicken tagine & flatbread and fruit salad to finish. Final segment of the night was the very entertaining traditional Moroccan band who even finished with a rendition of Africa (Shakira) . They got everyone involved with instrument playing and dancing (without a hint of alcohol) which was great. After 4 hours / great photos/ bellies full we headed back to our Riad. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and would highly recommend.
