Ali was a great host and we had a brilliant evening learning about the history of Marrakech and sampling different types of food. The evening meal was delicious and overall the cost of the tour was well worth it. A must on your list.

Marrakech Food Tour

We were a family of five visiting Marrakech and decided to experience the local cuisine with the help of a group-guided food tour. The tour was organized even though the travelers reached the maximum capacity of 15. The food tasting was good and tasty. We enjoyed the hassle and bustle of the Marrakech night market at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. As much as we enjoyed the tour, our experience did not run as smoothly as we had hoped. However, the owner of the tour company was very quick with follow-ups, ensuring we were satisfied with our experience. He did a great job remediating the issue. We certainly appreciate his actions and positive response in resolving the issue, an excellent business practice. This is the reason why we rated this tour 5 stars. Thank you!

Filled with amazing experiences

This was a superb VIP food tour with amazing insight on the Moroccan culture. The tour was lead by Mr. Ali who gave us an entire walk through of the various foods that are available. He also took us to the herbalism shop which gave us great insight on how and what herbs they offer for people. You also get to ask questions and buy from them which was great. To end the tour, the guide took us to this great restaurant where we were seated on the rooftop. This was also part of the amazing experience while we enjoyed some amazing Moroccan dishes. Highly recommend this tour with Mr. AlI.

Fun and Delicious Times in Jamaa el-Fna Square

Hassan is such a professional and knowledgeable guide. We had decided to book this tour after we had a great experience in our Private Souk Shopping tour with him. We like to taste different foods and we had chance to taste food that we cannot dare to eat alone. We experienced street foods that we have never ate, various local delicates like dried fruits, nuts, patisseries, olives and meats etc. It was not just the food, we also had the chance to interact with street performers in the square. After street food tastings we went to a moroccan restaurant that the food was traditionally cooked and delicious. Try not to eat too much before the tour and during the street food tasting because the dinner includes lots of dishes. We highly recommend this tour with Hassan to anyone.

Must Do Food Tour with Hassan

Food Tour with Hassan is a must do when visiting Marrakech! Hassan was a phenomenal guide, recommend doing this tour early in your trip as he provides great insight into the Moroccan culture and sights to see in the area in addition to the food tour. We stopped at several food stands for delicious snacks that we took home with us and ended with a multi course Delicious Moroccan feast. Go hungry and don't miss this fantastic experience!

Best foodie tour ever!

It was a fantastic tour!

It gets a 5 from me in all categories I can think of: itinerary selection, choice and variety of shops, food selection, and my guide’s preparation, knowledge, attentiveness and care. I also enjoyed getting to know more about this remarkable country through the eyes of my Moroccan guide, as well as meeting very nice and cordial shop and restaurant owners and attendants.

The many (many!) savory dishes and sweets I tried were all delicious, including the snail soup, to my own amazement.

I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

A taste of Marrakech

Hassan was extremely thoughtful and accommodating, ensuring that our experience was positive and inclusive of lots of historic information. We were a small group, two couples, and he made sure to give us a taste of every kind of food, dessert, and traditional dish that we could possibly think of. After traveling into the markets, we were taken to a restaurant where we ate on the rooftop and had a full spread of dishes. This tour is a great way to explore the great cultural food that Marrakech has to offer. I absolutely recommend.

Great food tour!

I went with 2 friends and my daughter. We had a wonderful experience with this tour. Started at the market to try various small snacks and ended at a rooftop restaurant for a huge dinner. There were MANY different foods offered to us and all delicious! I had the best lamb ever. We learned so much about the culture, the food and Ramadan. We happened to be there during Ramadan. The owner and staff at the restaurant were also very gracious. We had to take 2 taxis after to get back to our hotel and our guide rode in 1 with us which was very reassuring.
