It was a wonderful afternoon spent with my husband and our three children, ages 14, 10 and 6. Grandma taught us how to make focaccia, turning everything into a wonderful family experience. The two eldest children participated enthusiastically, while the youngest happily played with the lady's son. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to chat with the lady and learn a lot about Morocco, which I would never have discovered without this shared moment.
At the end of the day, we gathered in a cozy room to enjoy together the focaccia we had prepared, accompanied by jam, local honey, olives and cheese. They also carefully explained how to prepare tea, which we drank during our snack. It was a perfect balance between learning, connection and delicious food!
