Had an amazing time, we got to see a variety of animals, our driver was great and the food too.
If you are flying from Zanzibar and driving to the national park, you need a minimum of two days.

Expérience parfaite au parc Mikumi notre guide Ibra a été super ! On a pu voir tous les animaux de la savane ! Deux jours c’est suffisant… en partant de Zanzibar il faut savoir que c’est un long voyage : 1 demi h de vol mais ensuite c’est 7 h de route le premier jour et 7 h le lendemain ( sur une route très dangereuse)
Je vous conseille de prendre un avion pour arriver directement dans le parc ! Gain de tps et bcp moins de fatigue ! Sinon tout était parfait merci 🙏

It was perfect with the guide ibrahim safe driver perfect day !! We see the lion the first hour . Ibrahim know where to find the animal i recommand 👌

Merci beaucoup à Ibrahim, notre guide/nouvel ami qui nous a pris en charge de l’aéroport jusqu’au parc, nous a expliqué toute la vie des animaux dans la savane et a pu nous en faire voir un maximum en un minimum de temps ! Tout était très bien organisé.
Surtout, merci pour sa bonne humeur 🙏🏼

From start to finish, it was amazing! I cannot thank our guide, Ramadan, enough. He catered to our every need and went out of his way to make our fabulous safari even more memorable by explaining the habitat of the animals, the culture of the lovely people of Tanzania. From start to finish he treated us like family. I highly recommend this safari.

We loved our safari! Rama was a fantastic guide, we couldn’t have asked for more.
The whole process was simple from start to finish, our flights from Zanzibar to the mainland were booked for us and our driver, Rama, met us at the airport.
We stopped on the way to Mikumi for lunch as it is a long drive. The food at our lunch stop on the way was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
Camp Bastian lodge where we spent the night was beautiful. Again the staff went out of their way to welcome us. The beds were so comfy, I didn’t want to get up! There was plenty of hot water and a nice powerful shower. I am a mosquito magnet so was pleased to see bednets on all of the beds too.
We were lucky enough to see lots of animals on our game drives, we managed to tick off most of our wish list during the first game drive! The drive the next morning was even more special as the animals were so close to us.
As we visited during the rainy season, the safari wouldn’t have been complete without the jeep getting stuck in the mud 😂 it has happened to us on each safari we have done! Rama handled it with laughter and professionalism and we were soon on our way.
I can’t recommend this safari enough - do it!

We had a fantastic trip. The absolute highlight was being so close to the animals. Elephants walked right by our vehicle and we saw 8 lions really close too. We even glimpsed a leopard hidden in a tree.
Rama our guide was so kind and friendly and hugely knowledable. He made it a brilliant trip.
The journey from Dar es salaam is long but Rama was such good company it was enjoyable too.
The number of giraffes, elephants, zebra and impala is amazing.

We had such an amazing experience on this trip! We really enjoyed the private car with fridge and rooftop and we saw so many animals in the national park. Our tour guide Gaston was a real highlight, so knowledgeable, polite, friendly and really wanted to ensure we had the best time and maximised our time driving inside the park. Finding the most unique places to stop for lunch.
Our flights got changed by the airline a month before arriving and so we had to move everything including this safari forward by a day and this was easily altered by the company without complaint. The value of this trip was outstanding which included private vehicle, park passes, accommodation and food. The visit to see the local people was certainly unique and interesting.
We were also lucky to be the only people at the hotel (Tan Swiss) and had the pool to ourselves! The evening meal there was amazing, huge portions. We felt safe at all times even though the national park has no boundary so at any point animals can be seen everywhere in the local area but there were security on site! We had a night either side in Dar Es and followed this trip with a 6 night stay on Zanzibar and found it to be the perfect length between safari and island time.
