A dream trip!
It has been two weeks since our family of three returned from Tanzania but the amazing experience we had is still lingering in our minds. Thank you Yahaya for the most wonderful vacation of our life!
We reached out to Yahaya Al Kindi (on a friend's recommendation) in July last year and were in regular touch since then. He customised our itinerary based on the number of days we had and the places we wanted to cover. Always approachable, with a very friendly and warm demeanor, Yahaya was ever willing to answer the very many questions we had and displayed tremendous patience.
Our trip commenced on the 14th of January wherein we landed at Kilimanjaro airport and our exhaustion from the long journey from India vanished the minute we were warmly welcomed at the airport by Yahaya, his lovely wife Happy and our fantastic guide Rama (Ramadan).
We were escorted to the Golf Safari House where we spent our first night in Tanzania and here began our journey to experience the warmth and friendliness of the people of Tanzania.
The next seven days were spent covering Tarangire National Park, Central & Southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, wherein we got to see the Big 5, witnessed two kills, several chases, and also spotted at close quarters - two male lions clashing, pride of lions on trees & boulders, lion cubs, cheetahs with their cubs (the list is endless). The highlight of our trip was the incredible experience of staying in the bush camps amidst the wild.
Our ever punctual guide cum driver, Rama, proved to be extremely knowledgeable and would regale us with stories from his previous safaris and also provide us with lots of information on the birds and animals we sighted. His instincts were so good that we would land up at the right place at the right time. We still don't know how he would manage to drive and at the same time scan the horizon to zero down on a hidden animal.
Our trip ended with Yahaya seeing us off at the airport with a lovely painting as a gift which really touched our hearts.
Yahaya, Happy and Rama .....we are surely coming back and look forward to witness the migration.
If you are planning a holiday to Tanzania... we highly recommend Wild Giant Safaris!!!

Yahaya is untrustworthy and tried to make us pay more money upon arrival for things that were supposed to be included. I had to pay $215 for entry into Ngorogoro Crater because after sitting at the entrance for over an hour our guide had still not received the permits from Yahaya. He made us pay $15 for a ride to town for dinner which was supposed to be included in our trip. Then he told my friends the lodging wasn't paid for to try and get them to give him more money. The morning we were supposed to leave for the safari we sat with him for an hour while he told us he didn't have the money for our permits and lodging. We paid for everything upfront, but still tried to work out a solution with him and his response was "I have a headache." Yahaya is a bad businessman; do not work with him!

Wir haben 2 Wochen in Kenia verbracht und dort zunächst eine Woche eine unfassbar tolle Safari in 3 Nationalparks gemacht. Super Organisation und tolle Unterkünfte zum Teil direkt in den Parks mit einzigartigen Tierbegegnungen.
In der 2. Woche waren wir am indischen Ozean zum Tauchen. Auch hier waren Unterkunft und Service ausgezeichnet. Tolles Erlebnis!!

The Safari started in Arusha on the Airstrip. I flew out to Serenora in the Serengeti, from there I started my way to Lobo. I stayed at Lobo Wild Life Lodge, which has an amazing view over the Serengeti Nationalpark. From there I did Day Game Drive to serenora and further to the Ngorongoro NP to Tarangere NP. All parks are awesome and definitely recommended!

Ich hatte von Südafrika eine ganz andere Vorstellungen! Vorab möchte ich sagen das ich einige Bedenken hatte. Ich wusste nicht ob mir diese Reise tatsächlich zusagt, denn eine Rundreise mit Reisetasche war für mich schon eine Herausforderung/Abenteuer und als Singlereisende in einer Gruppe mit Pärchen die ich nicht kenne, erst recht. Bedenken wie z.B. welche Kleidung - bei max. 20 kg Reisegepäck nicht einfach für mich - Pumps oder lieber Wanderschuhe, chic oder zweckmäßig und so weiter. Als ich dann die ausgearbeitete vierzehntägige Garden-Route von der Reiseleiterin Lydia in den Händen hielt war ich mehr als begeistert! Nun wurde Lydia (Reiseleiterin) erst einmal gelöchert, ja fast schon genervt mit meinen vorgenannten Fragen, wie z.B. sind die Unterkünfte sicher, was brauche ich an Kleidung, wie ist das Essen, was ist das für eine Gruppe, passe ich als Single da rein, usw.! Geduldig hat Lydia mir alle meine Fragen beantwortet! Also habe mich auf dieses Abenteuer eingelassen und es nicht bereut! Von der Organisation Abreise, Ankunft, Mietwagen, Unterbringung, Restaurants, Aktivitäten und nicht zuletzt auch die Gruppe, war alles mehr als perfekt zusammengestellt. Jeder der gerne eine unvergessliche Rundreise durch Südafrika machen möchte und unsicher bzgl. Organisation etc. ist, dem kann ich nur empfehlen mit "Wild Giant Safaris" zu buchen! Ich kann nun aus eigener Erfahrung sagen: hier sind Sie bestens aufgehoben, keine bösen Überraschungen, super Organisation und eine TOP-Reiseleitung! Mein Dank für eine unvergessene Zeit gilt, "Wild Giant Safaris", ganz besonders der Reiseleiterin Lydia die immer und jederzeit als Ansprechpartnerin zur Verfügung stand und zum Schluss möchte ich die Gruppe nicht unerwähnt lassen.... ihr wart einfach toll! Ich würde jederzeit wieder meine Reisen mit "Wild Giants Safaris" planen und durchführen!!

Die Reise nach Südafrika mit Wild Giant Safaris war absolut unbeschreiblich!!!
Vom Treffen am Flughafen bis zur allerletzten Minute alles mehr als perfekt.
Die jederzeit aufmerksame, herzliche und persönliche Art unserer Reiseleiterin Lydia ist unschlagbar.
Hotel- und Restaurantauswahl, Reiseroute, Aktivitäten, Safaris, ob an Land oder auf dem Wasser, einfach alles perfekt. Auch die Mitreisenden hätten nicht besser zusammen passen können.
Wir hatten eine aufregende und zugleich entspannte, unvergessliche 14tägige Traumtour, bei der es an nichts gefehlt hat!
Und Südafrika ist überwältigend!
Lydia, mit dir reisen wir überall hin 👌🦒

Als "Afrika-Neulinge" waren wir zunächst sehr gespannt, ob die geplante Rundreise, Kapstadt - Garden Route - Kruger NP mit den verschiedenen Zielen und Events unsere Erwartungen von einem Erholungsurlaub erfüllen kann. Wir waren als kleine Gruppe unterwegs. Vorab - es war der Hammer. Bereits bei den Vorbereitungen haben wir gemerkt, hier weiß jemand genau, was er tut. So gestaltete sich die Anreise schon sehr entspannt. Leihwagen, Hotelauswahl, Ausflüge und vor allem die Nationalparks und Reservate übertrafen alles, was wir uns vorstellen konnten. Hier sei besonders der Reiseleiterin, Lydia, gedankt. Keine Frage blieb unbeantwortet, kein "Problemchen" ungelöst. Service rund um die Uhr.
Durch die Vielzahl der verschiedenen Orte und Events war tatsächlich kein Tag wie der andere. Wir sind "angefixt". Danke Wild Giants Safaris.
