Habari is one the best companies I’ve ever had the pleasure of choosing for a trip. They are, of course, so experienced and well prepared. But what made our Kilimanjaro 8-day trek spectacular was how loving, kind, empathetic, and supportive the whole team was. The energy of Habari is unparalleled, and it makes a trek so much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic too!!! Huge shout out to Stan for making a great trip for us and Evance and Leon for being AWESOME guides.

Went solo to Tanzania and was the only one in my climbing group due to it being off season but had the most incredible experience with Habari, my main guide Leon was outstanding. I felt comfortable and at home with all of the people involved. They supported all of my needs physical or emotional and provided encouragement when I needed it. I was so exhausted approaching the top but they bottle fed me coke to keep my blood sugar up and we made it 16Nov, 2023, 07:40am :) This group helped me find strength I didn't know I had.
The food was great, tent setup was perfect, hotel accommodations were nice and airport transfer was super easy with Inno. Very easy to rent gear from them if you missed anything. Seems like many of the guides are students at a local tourism school which makes sense given their intelligence when it comes to the region and the superior hospitality provided. I learned so much about local plants, animals and culture.
Anything you could want or need this team will try their best to make it happen for you. Any particular food preferences are no problem for them, just communicate!
Habari Adventure seemed to have lowest prices compared to many other Kilimanjaro companies, this was great and made budgeting for tips a bit easier. These guys deserve to be tipped well! The US dollar goes quite far here so tipping well allows these guys to further their education and help their families a ton. I really hope to return to Tanzania with my family for a safari with this Habari Adventure.

Habari Adventures far exceeded my expectations. I did a lot of research before choosing them and I know I made the best decision. They were affordable and very accommodating. I traveled as a solo female and felt very safe with them. The guides were extremely motivational and patient and ensured I had a successful summit. They are also very dedicated to safety. The owner, Stan, communicated with me throughout the entire planning process, and answered my numerous questions very thoughtfully and completely. His English is excellent! They checked my gear when I arrived to make sure that I had everything I needed, and they put me up in a beautiful hotel. I rented my own private toilet, poles, a hot water bottle and very warm sleeping bag from Habari Adventures. (My packing list for climbing Kilimanjaro can be downloaded from MichellesTrails). They also accommodated my vegetarian diet needs. Stan went above and beyond to help me during the day before my climb, and also set up a post-climb trip for me. I had an epic adventure and highly recommend Habari Adventures.

I had an unbelievable experience with Habari Adventure! We completed the 7 day Rongai route and were so impressed with the organization, friendly group, and incredible food. The trip exceeded all of our expectations and I cannot recommend Habari highly enough!

Perfect experience. The whole team was great. Our guides (Emmanuel and Innocent which we recommend both highly) were fun, patient, informative and always had a smile.
The whole crew really made this experience memorable. We were not very experienced hikers and were a bit apprehensive but thanks to the team we made it to the top.

A friend and I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in September 2020. We worked with Habari Adventure and were well cared for. I especially loved them from day one when I message them about this unforgettable trip. They were so friendly, organized and several went out of their way to give us extra service. Elias and Imanuel were our guides and were kind, patient, helpful, strong men. I was grateful for Nickson for taking care of our toilet tent/bucket. It was much appreciated. The food was more than what we expected (so delicious) our chef (Thomas) is an amazing man he made the best food and was always hot and on time. We followed the Rongai route up to Kibo and then joined other routes to the summit. We returned down the Marangu route. I was so happy to see two sides of the mountain and experience the two trails. Stan the owner of Habari adventure he is a clever man, helped us with questions and all arrangements.
Stan made us to feel Tanzania as our new home because of his explanation, encouragements and he gave us some gifts after the hike. Definitely a trip to remember the rest of my life! Leornad helped me to Uhuru peak and I enjoyed all hours talking with our guides as we walked every day on the way as well as playing cards at the camp. Hopefully we will come back soon for safari to Serengeti and other parks with this local company. This is a most gorgeous, unique place in the world. I'm so glad I got to experience it fully! It is definitely challenging; definitely worth the effort!
I and friends we will definitely recommend Habari adventure to any one looking forward to explore Tanzania.
