Although short, our one-day Chobe Safari tour departing from Vic Falls was a truly memorable safari and in some ways eclipsed our earlier safari in Kruger National Park. Doing both a safari by boat and another in a 4x4 vehicle added variety to the day, with an excellent buffet meal at one of the resorts sandwiched in between. During the boat cruise, we saw many land animals on the shore, but most notably elephants splashing mud on themselves to cool down from the hot sunny day. We also saw crocodiles, giant lizards, and hippos. During our 4x4 drive, we saw HORDES of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, etc. in incredible numbers all around you - it was such an amazing sight. Finally, the true highlight was coming across these lions hiding in the shade of trees - we drove up super close to them and that was just such a surreal and still safe experience. Thanks to all the drivers and guides that made this such a great experience.

Chobe National Park is indeed the Land of The Giants.I have never seen so many elephants as i so in Chobe.We visited from Victoria Falls.Everything was organized perfectly, our transfer was punctual.On our way we saw wild dogs and giraffes.We started with a 3 hour game drive then a delicious lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge. Then in the afternoon we went for a game river cruise.We saw giraffes,zebras,kudus, elands, hundreds of elephants and buffaloes, hippopotamus;crocodiles and a lot of birds.

Hi - I am interested in booking this Tour 2 days in a row.. to get the most of out visiting Chobe.
My questions are:
1) do we pay a Visa Fee at the Botswana border
2) how much
3) can i get multiple entry if going twice

Hi Ray, not sure if you ever got a reply from these guys but avoid at all costs. I booked with them in Feb and obviously could not travel at the end of March and I'm still waiting for a refund. They have just stopped replying to my emails and I have had to contact my credit card company for a refund.
