Transportation to dinner flowed easy, only complaint which is out of control of the operator is where you sit. Seating can be extremely terrible and you will not see anything from your seat given that this is a tourist trap and everyone wants videos/pictures. The food was good but they definitely try to keep portions low with distributing so don’t feel selfish, it’s a buffet ask for more to prevent yourself from getting up more. Drinks not included, the show overall was good if you can see, I had to

We enjoyed the food and the show. Had some trouble seeing due to our seats. But overall a fun and different experience.

It was truly a tourist spot. Everything was artificial.
There were some tribal shows during dinner time. I didn't watch much. Dont border to take any photos.
The food was a buffet style with some game meats. Again it's not my favorite.
Overall Once is more than enough or you miss nothing if you don't go

The experience was great, food was delicious. Our driver Isabella was amazing too! She is very knowledgeable and gave us so much information about Zimbabwe.

Food was lovely and very plentiful! It was a fun experience but I just wish the staff had explained what was going to happen through the evening better. Some tables you can’t actually see the “stage area” despite all seats being same price. The show happens intermittently throughout the evening, while you and others are going back and forth to the buffet and still trying to eat. As our table was one you couldn’t see from, I found it hard to know if I should keep eating or leave my food and go and watch - but the plates would always be cleared when you left your seat.

We had a fantastic night at the Boma Dinner and Drum show. Loved how we were all given a “sarong” to wear on entry and once shown to our table we got to sample the local traditional home brew and had the hand washing tradition. The food was excellent, very proud of my mopani worm Certificate! The drum show was a lot of fun too, all round a great night and highly recommended. A big thank you to Isabella from Afro Dawn tours who picked us up for our lodge and was so lovely.

It was good food and entertainment but it doesn't quite justify the $$. The advertisement made it sound like a lot of african music and dancing but it was limited to a short time. It says face painting, but that is just three dots painted on before you enter. If you aren't in a front seat, you won't see much at all. There are limited front seats. We (2 of us) got a front seat because I booked with the hotel (that's what we are assuming). Little did I know when I did book through them, that they were charging $30 more then if we went straight thru to Bomo. I think though, we got the best seats because we booked and paid a premium so in the end it was well the extra $$ for us, but maybe not for you.
It is a bit hyped up but it was a fun evening. There is no stage, it is just a walking space where they perform. Anyone sitting in 80% of the seats won't be able to see much without standing.

We had a party of 8, reserved a table and requested to be seated close to the drum show as we had visitors from California, SA and parts of Zimbabwe who had never been to the Boma.
The manager Gerald very rudely told his shift manager that his "gate is wide open and they are free to leave if they are not happy with where they are seated"
(We were seated right at the back near the server's table)
The food was ok - not the authentic African cuisine everyone used to rave about. I asked the chef why the doviRice was white with crumbs of peanut butter and his response was well we cooked it "hotel style, not the true Zimbabwean way"
I was very disappointed.
On another note - the drum show was spectacular and the bartender on duty that night made an exceptional margharita! I will not be visiting the Boma again any time soon.

Everything was perfect from the cultural artists, the acapella guys, the food and the waiters service. We loved the drumshow the most, it was epic and got everyone to participate

Tremendous fun with great food too. Never drummed before, but I sort of got pulled in. I would recommend this. We came over for the day from Zambia. Try to stay overnight on the Zimbabwe side. That way you won’t have to rush back, like we had to, before the border closes for the night
