A great view of the falls not to be missed
Although expensive, you’re probably only going to be in Victoria Falls once so it’s worth the cost. Fabulous views over the falls. The ground staff were very welcoming though the pilot wasn’t particularly interactive. I appreciate they must do the trip countless times per day, but for tourists, it’s a once in a life time chance and a little more enthusiasm and effort could have been made. The views were spectacular…!

A great 15min out.

The ground crew was fantastic and the flight is amazing.

It would be nice if the pilot was a little more interactive and if they can’t be due to busy radio comms, it should be communicated at the start, otherwise it just comes across as “off”.

Or maybe a map at the start and a quick chat about the falls and how it was all formed etc. just my 2c :-)

Our thoughts on the flight
It was a great way to see the falls. The staff were very friendly and the safety briefing was good. The 13min flight was over before we new it and we thought the park fee really needs to be included in the ticket price.

Go with any other company! Our lodge arranged this for us and we were really disappointed. We were 4 couple, 8 people total. First, they promised us 2 copters with 4 people each and everyone would have an excellent view. We got there and they put another couple with us forcing 5 into each copter. The photographer of our trip was in a backwards seat with very little visability. 2nd, the ride was barely 9 minutes from take off to landing which meant maybe 5 minutes over the fall. But the worst part was our pilot. He made it very clear NOT to talk to him, ask him questions or bother him in any way. He offered not one single word of commentary or education.
They try very hard to sell you a video and photos of your experience. It is a video of you getting on and off the coptor and then stock video of the falls.

Dear Sir/Madam We offer scenic flights and what we guarantee our clients is a window seat to view the falls of which I believe you got a window seat. They was absolutely no reason for us to fly you with two helicopters. The idea was for you to see the Falls not seeing your mates fly in another helicopter. We flew you with other clients in the same helicopter because you did not pay for a private flight that we offered you if you wanted to fly alone. We did not realise that you were shooting a movie and that you had employed the services of a photographer. If you had informed us we were not going to allowed that ,as we don’t offer such a service. Our rides are pre-set to take between 13 to 15 minutes depending on the level the pilot arrives when he gets to the Falls. It is impossible to fly less than 13 minutes. I am sorry that you did not hear the pilot speak. I am sure you were consumed with anger and you did not hear him speak We do sell videos and the propagative is yours whether you buy it or not. Lloyd

Wir hatten uns mehr erwartet
Wir Wareneinfuhr der Früh die ersten Kunden,
Einweisung soweit OK und Professionell
Leider hatte dann der uns zugewiesene Heli ein techn. Problem,
Nach einigen Versuchen, das Problem zu lösen, wurde abgebrochen und wir mussten auf einen andren Heli warten.
(Was meine Frau sehr beruhigt hat, die Aktion davor war nicht gerade vertrauensbildend😉)
Die Flugzeit war dann nichtmal 12 Minuten, vermutlich deshalb, weil ja jetzt ein Heli, der geplant war, ausgefallen ist!

Das für 350 US$ für 2 Personen

Flug an sich war OK, aber nicht so ein Highlight wie ich erhofft hatte
Kann aber an mir liegen

Danke für die Bewertung Wir möchten uns auch für den technischen Defekt am Hubschrauber entschuldigen. Sicherheit hat für uns oberste Priorität und unser Unternehmen geht dabei keine Kompromisse ein Unsere Flüge und Routen sind so vorprogrammiert, dass sie zwischen 13 und 15 Minuten dauern, abhängig von der Ebene, auf der der Helikopter im Vergleich zu anderen Helikoptern an den Wasserfällen ankommt. Es tut mir leid, wenn es sich kürzer anfühlte, was wohl an der Belastung durch den technischen Fehler lag, den wir entwickelt hatten

Un moment fort de notre voyage, expérience unique à ne rater sous aucun prétexte. Nous avons commencé par découvrir les chutes en hélicoptère avant de nous rendre à pieds à la rainbow forest. Nous sommes contents de ce choix car cela donne une vision globale des chutes. Très bonne organisation avec prise en charge à l’hôtel et retour à l’entrée des chutes. Franchement, la depence vaut vraiment la peine, ne venez pas jusqu’ici sans vers ce survol en hélicoptère

A fantastic experience not to be missed

Everything about our tour was first class. Pick up at the hotel pre flight brief and a fantastic and informative pilot. This tour was the high light of our trip to Zimbabwe. It was great to be offered a video of the flight so as we could relive our experience. I would 100% recommend chikopokopo helicopter tours, great experience and wonderful staff.

If you're all the way there, just do it!
This was incredible! Not only did we see the incredible falls but animals from the helicopter too 🐘🐘🐘. Thrilling and energizing. Instructions and safety handles well too.

Impresionantes vistas. Vuelo fabuloso. Al final te invitan a comprar el vídeo con las imágenes que toman cuando llegas, mientras esperas, cuando vuelves del vuelo y con las vistas aéreas de las cataratas. Genial

Great to see the falls from above!

Our accommodations booked us with Chikopokopo Helicopters. They picked us up on time. Check in was pretty quick and with no waiting we were ready to go. So awesome to see the falls from above. The pilot circled twice so that each side of the helicopter got great views and pictures. Being on the ground just doesn't give you the perspective that you get in the air.
