I had a great experience! My driver was friendly and very accommodating.
Once you're at the park office, you have an opportunity at the briefing to request to join a group taking a short or longer trek. I opted for a long trek but was expecting a lot more habit diversity on the trek. It's mostly through bamboo jungle, with little else to see until you reach the Gorillas. So I'd suggest opting for a shorter trip and spending more of your time enjoying the lakes and scenery in the area.

Great exercise experience. I recommend it as a once in a lifetime experience but make sure to do a lot of exercising(jogging) in and around Rwanda so that you acclimatize to the weather and breathing.

Alain is an amazing guide. He helped me out when my booking changed and even gave me a discount on some of fees as a kind gesture. Would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Rwanda!
