There is a controverse on the exact relevance of Gorée in the slave trade. Many people believe (and document) that the historical truth is different from the official narrative. IN either case, the slave house remains an impressive commemoration place.

I would like to start off by saying that Mika is the BEST at what he does. Ever since your initial interaction he makes you feel like family and takes you in. Mika showed us around the entire city and was well rehearsed and knowledgeable of its history. He is patient and takes into account that this may be your first time in Africa. Lastly, Mika goes above and beyond to ensure everything goes just as planned and that you are getting the very best experience possible. I highly recommend!

Air Sea & Be Travel, Immersion group embarked on a journey together for a trip of a lifetime. We left our guidance in the hands of the amazing Mika, and his other amazing tour partners. Our driver brother Ali and your guide brother Laytie.
We explored many places such as Pink Lake, Goree Island, Kunta Kinte Island, Desert Lompoul Lodges, The safari & Lion Walk in Fathala, the Renaissance Monument of Dakar, we met with the king of Casamance where we were presented with our African names. The 2nd Largest Mosque in the world.
I’m so glad we had the pleasure of meeting Mika & his team first. I can’t see doing another tour exclusively without them. They are the best guides & driver the world has ever seen.

If you're looking to visit Senegal, do yourself a favor and book with Mika Guisse. His years of experience as a tour guide are evident, as he and his team (Soce, Ali, and Leiti) are very professional and attentive to the needs of their guests. I was fortunate enough to spend a week with Mika and his team, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Not only was I exposed to the authentic culture and traditions of Senegal, but Mika and his team made me feel like family and that I ultimately left home (United States) only to arrive at home (Africa). The sentiments were evident, and I'm forever grateful for the shared experiences with him and his team.

Mika and his staff were wonderful. Their knowledge, professionalism and love for their Senegalese culture is unmatched. Our group met them as strangers and left them as family.

We actually used Mika’s company for 14 days. The city tour and goree island was fantastic. Mika is very knowledgeable and provided us with insights about Senegal and The Gambia that gave me an appreciation of the culture. For two whole weeks they meet all of our needs and concerns with an attention to detail thats second to none.

The whole tour of Senegal and The Gambia was a delightful from our first day everyone was so hospitable to us . Our tour guide Mika Guisse was so well knowledgeable introducing us to his Senegal culture and our history all the excursions went as planned on the itinerary. Our tour of Goree and Jufureh were so culturally enriching and walking with the lions and ATVs on the dunes so thrilling thanks Mika for making our 1st travel to Senegal so nice and looking forward to the next time .

Mika is a very professional and courteous tour guide. All our needs were taken care of and we felt very safe and had lots of fun. We saw parts of the city and other areas that we would not have seen on our own. Mika is definitely your go to person for anything Senegal and The Gambia. Please do yourself a favor and save time and let Mika be your guide!!

Don't forget your passport to get on the ferry. Lots of beautiful things to see worth a look. Bit of a tourist trap and everything written in French in Museum

Können Sie mir einen Ausflug in Dakar anbieten komme am 9.11 mit dem Schiff nach Dakar ich sitze im Rollstuhl kann aber in normale Pkw s ( Limousine) einsteigen

1.How long is the tour......one place says 10 minutes and another place says 5 hours.
2.0n the city tour do you stop at the places to visit/ take pictures or is it just a drive by
3 what time does the tour start.
4 I'm arriving by ship. Wii pick up be at the port/crude terminal
5 what is the size of the group.
