Our Jinja tour guided by Mahad was an absolute delight! He skillfully navigated us through the highlights of Jinja, infusing historical insights and local anecdotes, making the experience engaging and informative. Jinja city is an amazing place to tour with an excellent guide who knows history of the place😳. for the time I visited Uganda I decided to do jinja tour first because of its history and the source of the Nile it was such a great experience because we did many activities like water 💧 rafting, boating, fishing and nature walks in mabira forest 🌳 Our guide was good, managed time, fluent, funny and kind to be spend time with. I truly enjoy this tour and I therefore recommend this tour to other people

It was my first day in Uganda. One of my friends told me about visiting Jinja to see the source of the Nile, as it's one of the greatest places to visit. He again recommended that I book with this travel company because of their good reputation. I contacted them, and I got my reply within a day! On the following day, we went to Jinja, and it was a 3-4 hour drive. We did many things in Jinja, like boating, tasting street foods, taking nature walks in Mabira Forest, among other activities. I thank Mahad and his team for giving us a great experience in Uganda, and therefore, I highly recommend this trip.

I recently did a jinja tour with All seasons adventures in uganda 🇺🇬my experience was magical and unforgettable. It was my first time in jinja where I got to witness the source of the Nile. I did amazing activities like bungee, water rafting, ate street foods among others 😋 my guide was just enough for the experience 😄since he was loving, fluent, listening, knowledgeable and kind who made me feel comfortable therefore I would be fine if I recommend this tour to other tourists

I am being extremely generous in providing a 3 star “average” review for this trip, which started off disastrous, but ended up in a state of redemption.
Being African American, I am quite familiar with the term, the notion of, and the reality of what is known as “Africa Time.” I’ve experienced it numerous times in my own country and abroad. Wherever one encounters it, it’s never a good experience, particularly when your money and your time is at stake.
My tour began just over two and a half hours late! That’s right. My guides arrived at my hotel at 9:30 for a tour scheduled to begin at 7:00AM. There was no reasonable explanation, nor an apology from the local providers. The entire time, I’m trying to reach someone at All Seasons Adventures Uganda but to no avail. No one answered the phone during multiple attempts from my end. I finally got in contact with customer service at Trip Advisor, who acted as mediators and was eventually able to reach someone at the local provider. But by this time, two hours had already gone by. I was assured that someone was on the way and left with my own temper to deal with.
After finally rendezvousing with my guides, they were tepidly apologetic but still with no reasonable explanation for the extreme delay. Being halfway around the world, and with the only other option available would being to abandon the entire trip and stay at the hotel all day, I decided to go ahead with a full day trip to Jinja.
Somehow, my two guides were charming enough to ease my rage by the time we got to our first stop which was Ssezibwa River Falls and was as charming as all the literature states. It’s a small watering hole fed by a sizable, and powerful waterfall. You can hike to the top (which we did not) and the surrounding area. We didn’t see a lot of wildlife but got some good photo ops at the falls.
From there, we continued east to Jinja, where we stopped for lunch then headed on to a small port where we boarded a small boat to sail to the source of the Nile. Its quite an exciting thing to see the underwater springs bubbling up from Lake Victoria which marks the source of the Nile. Got some great photos there as well as seeing some spectacular wildlife along the way. We also saw the Gandhi monument, which I am ashamed to admit I was not aware of that history associated with the Nile.
By this time, it was heading towards late afternoon. We were going to make a stop at Mabira Central Forest Reserve but 1. It had started raining hard and 2. We were not dressed for the occasion, so we ended up just heading back to Kampala.
So, despite the frustrating late start, it turned out to be a good little adventure.
