A great experience in a private home with a Newar family. Food, entertainment and familiarity. Visits very well led by our agency in Nepal and in Spain.

I enjoyed the tour so much! Got to see key highlights around Kathmandu. The program was impeccably design and professionally executed. My tour guide, Trilochan, was very kind, helpful, and informative. I loved Bhaktapur and would come back in a heartbeat.

The entire day was well planned out by our guide and driver. The transportation was efficient, clean and safe driving. At each and every site we were provided interesting detailed explanations about the place, the people and traditions. Our guide was proactive, patience and provided thoughtful care. Bhaktapur, Panauti and Patan were spectacular. The entire experience was flawless

Dilip is really knowledgeable and fun. The reason I rate this low is because of a few decisions he made during our tour. First, it started raining in the first city (there's 2 cities the entire tour). My partner and I were the only ones on the tour with Dilip. When it started to rain, we went into a local shop to wait out the rain. I had thought that would be for a few minutes. It was for over an hour. Dilip didn't want to go into the rain to the car, even though my partner and I, the guests he is serving, had rain jackets and were fine going.
Second, as I said earlier there are two phases to the tour. The first is Bakhtapur, which was awesome and had some really beautiful temples. After that we went to Panauti to walk around. However, getting to Panauti takes 40 minutes. We walked around for maybe 20m. That means we spent 1.5h travelling to see a very small town for 20m. The economics don't make sense.
Effectively, we lost an hour from rain because Dilip didn't bring his rain jacket that day. We also lost 4h in traffic because the entire day was pushed because we waited in the store for the rain. The tour was supposed to end at 430pm, instead we got home at 730pm. Again, Dilip is really well acquainted with the stories. However, you need to serve your guests. If your guests want to go, while it's raining, you go. I could have saved 3h+ of my time by not taking this tour

We had a great trip and the guide told us a lot during the trip, not only about things we saw but also about life in Nepal. She also showed us the little things, like taste the yoghurt and other food.

Bhaktapur was beautiful and peaceful, nice way to take in and really see these ancient temples away from the chaos of Kathmandu. Panauti was more like a small home town, not catered towards tourists so it was nice to see a place that is off the beaten trail. Akshay was very informative and a pleasure to spend the day with. Great way to spend my first full day in Nepal.

I think I underated this trip but turn out in my whole Nepal trip this is one of the most favorite trip. I’m the only one who join the tour and yes the driver is a lady and the guide Dilip still bring me going around. It turn out like I’m having the local Nepali friend who bring me to experience local life. I really enjoy the trip, you should visit the woman homestay community you can really experience how local life is. <3

We really enjoyed our tour to Bhaktapur and Panauti. The drive was very comfortable and we enjoyed looking round Bhaktapur despite the rain. Our guide, Akshay, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and knew lots of stories too. He taloured the tour to our interests, trying some Juju Dhau and pottery making!
Lunch at our homestay was delicious and included trying our hand at some cooking!

Bhaktapur is definitely worth visiting. Our guide, Akshay made it even more interesting; he was very knowledgeable and fun to interact with. He organized lunch with a local family, it was very authentic and a nice surprise; food was tasty and it felt good to support the local community. The day was nice and relaxed l, we never felt pressured for time and Akshay was ready to answer all our questions. We learned a lot about the area and the history of Nepal, we recommend this tour and our guide Akshay.

Bhaktapur is far from Pokhra. Stay atThamel and visit Bhaktapur as it is a less than hour drive from Thamel and you'll get a taxi/auto/bus easily.You can visit othe rplaces around as well.

Yes it is possible if you reached at airport on time it means 9:00 AM. This tour takes around 6 hour. When you reach at airport you should directly went to bhaktapur and then panauti. When you finished your tour then only you should check in at your hotel if you follow like this it is possible otherwise impossible because it takes more time for went to panauti.
