My husband and i did Manaslu trek end of April-begin of May 2023, organized by Nepal trekking experts. One of the two owners, Rajesh, explained and helped us a lot in arrangements, and proved to be very reliable. I contacted through whatsapp from the Netherlands, we made appointments and I payed a relatively small part of the total costs as deposit. Once we arrived he introduced us to our guide Lok, a very nice, easy and reliable guide with many years of trekking experience. During the trekking we had some bad weather circumstances and we noticed that all the younger guides looked at him for advice. Lok proved to be very honest in his advice if we should try to go over the pass with this bad weather circumstances, or not. He let us decide ourselves, based on his assessment of the situation on the pass. We decided to return and do not regret our choice. On our way back there was a jeep possibility to return by jeep instead of bus, which came out fine. Rajesh was so kind to arrange this possibility, which we found very thoughtful.
So, despite the weather, we had the best trek we could have had, thanks to this very reliable organization and guide. I would recommend these guys to everyone!

Every aspect of the trip was first rate. We had consistent communication with Rajesh before we booked until after we finished the trek. Every aspect, including trekking partners, was clearly considered. The guide - Rajan - was calm under pressure, knowledgeable, and unfailingly friendly and engaged. The porters - Ram and Dilli - were two of the nicest, toughest people you could meet. The trek itself was beautiful. Stop thinking, stay booking.

Raj Namasté! We wanted to thank you for a wonderful trip. From the first contact in 2019, before Corona, until the last moment in Nepal you were always very thoughtful, answered immediately to all our (silly) questions and organised everything perfectly.
Our Trek on the alternative route of the Manaslu circuit was very varied. The first 3 days we hiked high above the river and met no other tourists. The people were very open and friendly and it was interesting to see the pristine village life. The accomodations were simple but absolutely sufficiant. Once we met the normal route there were a lot of other hikers and also mule treks and villages used to the tourists. The advantage were more sophisticated tea houses.
The landscape, flora and cultural structures of the whole trek are amazing. From humid jungle to mountain forest to glaciers we climbed gradually up along the river. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good, especially around the Larke La Pass, and there was quite a bit of fresh snow, which made the the pass much harder than expected. But with the help of our guide Thakur and the two porters we managed nonetheless. A real highlight was the day after the pass from Bhimtang to Goa. With some rhododendron in bloom, mossy dripping trees, we felt like in a Tolkien book.
The absolute best about our trip was our guide Thakur. He is an excellent guide and knows every corner and also gave us a lot of background information. He is an amazing person who enriched our trip with his good spirit every moment. Kalika and Binod, our porters had a hard job but were always in good spirit as well and helpful where necessary.
We would definitely recommend the alternative route of the Manaslu Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts.

We'd like to strongly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts if you're planning an adventure in Himmalayas! They truly are experts - the whole experience was very well planned and executed. Communication was clear and timely. All our needs and requests have been accommodated.
Guides and porters the company works with are all professionals, who not only ensure your safety, but help you have fun and be supported on the way. Kedar, Thakur, and Utam were great companions to us and became a part of our travel family for 3 weeks!
I'd want to highlight Rajesh's great attention to details - every single thing was taken care of. He puts his heart into making your experience great.

This was was my first time in Nepal and I had no idea what was coming! I’m no trekker, that was very clear after a few days in. Myself and 3 friends signed up for Tsum Valley, Annapurna and Manaslu. The team work of our guide and 2 porters was outstanding! Thakur, the guide went above and beyond to take care of me throughout the whole trek. I was the literally the worst trekker he ever had ever.. but he stood by me and behind me throughout the whole trip! Even carrying my day pack most of the way.
Cri Tam (who was awaiting his guide licence and was there as a porter) was again amazing, he catered to our every need, he was like a doting older brother! And Teej, was the strongest fastest little guy I have ever met, who came to life and night singing and dancing and helping create the fun part of the trip.
Rajesh who runs the company, was also great. We changed things numerous times and he was always so helpful and obliging! We even enjoyed a few cocktails on the last night and he showed me some of the night life of Kathmandu.
I can not recommend this company enough!! Happy trekking and good luck

The Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley Track exceeded all expectations! From breathtaking landscapes to welcoming locals, this journey was an absolute dream. Our guide skillfully led us through the challenging Larke Pass, ensuring safety and unforgettable moments. The ancient monasteries, cascading waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks left us in awe. Cozy accommodations provided respite after each day's adventure. If you're seeking an off-the-beaten-path gem, this trek is a must-do. Prepare to be amazed, inspired, and forever changed by the majestic beauty of the Himalayas. It's an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

We booked the trek a couple months before and the communication with Rajesh (the owner) was really pleasant from the beginning. We directly had a great feeling about the company. The trek was majestic! Never experienced anything like it before. Our guide Binod is from the Manaslu region and walked the trek many times, which is why he knew all the good tea houses and restaurants. There was even a little wiggle room in the itinerary, you would be able to do all the side treks if you would like to. Binod gave really good advise if he would think you could do an extra side trek as a group or not. Our porter Phupu Chhwang was such an amazing guy, when he had the chance he would also help cook for us, and made some funny jokes. He was really helpful! After the hike they dropped us off at Pokhara. Before our flight back home (a week later) we received a message from Rajesh, he invited us for a drink and offered us a free ride to the airport. When we will come back to Nepal we will definitely book our next trek with Nepal trekking experts! 🙏

If you’re planning on trekking in Nepal, I can highly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts. I booked my Manaslu Circuit trekking package 3 years ago, but due to Covid and border closures I couldn't go. Rajesh kept in touch with me over this whole time updating me with the travel situation in Nepal. I appreciate Rajesh for his great communication, focus on the guest’s needs and professionalism. He patiently answered all my questions and quickly responded to all my emails. He sent me a detailed checklist to make sure that I have everything that I need for my trek and make sure we got all our permits on time.
I also have to mention our amazing Guide, Arjun. He’s not only experienced (19 years of being a guide in the Himalayas) but also a wonderful human being! He taught us a lot about the flora and fauna of the Manaslu region. He took great care of us - he was personally checking the ingredients in the kitchen and ensuring they are fresh. We never had any stomach issues. And I have to tell you that I have a very sensitive stomach. He was always selecting the best places for us to stay. We really enjoyed his company and we are sure that we would love to go trekking with him again. Long story short - Nepal Trekking Experts are really good at their job!

The team here are amazing. Just completed over 1 month of continuous trekking. They helped our group with some challenging logistics and were always willing to make sure we had a good time. Every step of the process was clear and well explained.

In case you are looking for a professional, safe and heart-warming travel agency you are right here. In our 11-day Manaslu track we had a great experience with Ganesh and Uttam being highly experienced as they did the Track already more than 25 times. Rajesh was the great manager who coordinated all in the background. On the tour itself we saw amazing landscapes, on some of the more unbeaten paths compared to Anapurna. Accomodations are basic but sufficient for a 11-day tour. The personal highlight for us was Shala and crossing the pass.
