While planning our trip to Kathmandu, one of the highlights was the concentration of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley. With that in mind, we opted to do this tour as all fees would be included. The tour operator was great with communication, letting us know who our guide was (Shanti) and confirmed our tour the day before. Shanti met us in our hotel lobby and directed us to the car. We were delighted to see this would be a private tour as it was just my partner and myself, along with Shanti and the driver. Shanti was warm and friendly and answered all questions that we had. She described each site in detail and we got to see sites beyond the 7 UNESCO sites that were listed on the itinerary. My partner also has a hobby of collecting (and sending) UNESCO postcards and Shanti helped us locate a treasure trove of postcards. After a delicious Nepali lunch in Bhaktapur, Shanti also helped my partner locate some Nepali hats that he was looking for, and a Hindu thangka that he was looking for. She far exceeded our expectations for this tour. Not only did we get expert explanations for each site, we got wonderful shopping help as well. We felt safe with our driver as well, getting from each site. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and if you are lucky, you will have Shanti as your guide.

I highly recommend this tour. My guide, Shanti, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Nepalese history and art, and a great storyteller. The tour was very interesting and seamlessly organized. Thank you 🙏

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with the tour organized by Ananta in Kathmandu! From the moment we started, the guide demonstrated a deep knowledge of Kathmandu’s rich history and culture, making every stop feel like stepping into a storybook.
The itinerary was well-balanced, allowing time to explore iconic landmarks like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Boudhanath Stupa while also visiting hidden gems that I would have never discovered on my own. What stood out most was the personal touch—our guide made sure to tailor the experience to our interests, offering fascinating insights into local traditions and even introducing us to authentic Nepali cuisine along the way.

Excellent tour of these 7 sacred places in Kathmandu. My tour guide Ananta was top notch, professional, knowledgeable and I was happy he was assigned for my tour. Also had an experienced & courteous driver for the private car. I would definitely do this again 🙏

Decided to spend a day on the UNESCO heritage tour. It was a long day with walking and steps but wow was it worth it. Ananta was wonderful company and was very knowledgeable. He explained ALL the temples, the etiquette and rituals. There is no way we could have seen so much or learnt so much without him.

We enjoyed a very full day checking out religious shrines and other significant structures throughout the city. Our guide Ananta was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites but also a variety of contemporary topics about life in Nepal. His English was excellent and his experience traveling in other countries made him ideal for educating us. The trip also includes a driver who safely navigated the dynamic traffic and was always ready to whisk us to the next destination. I recommend this tour as a great introduction to Nepal and Kathmandu!

Incredible day visiting seven of the most incredible sites on the planet. Shanti was our terrific guide, full of historical background for all of the buildings and hugely knowledgeable about Nepal and Kathmandu. We also had a great driver who smoothly drove us between the sites. Go on this tour for wonderful memories from a single day. Highly recommended.

My guide Shanti Karki gave me an excellent tour of the city. You have a very extensive and detailed knowledge of each place to visit. In addition, he indicated the best places to take pictures and helped me take pictures. During the tour we moved in a new car with driver, which dropped us off and picked us up at the different points. It was very safe driving. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to see the most important sites in a single day with a detailed explanation of each place

A great tour with the 7 World Heritage Sites in and around Kathmandu and other sights. Kabita was my guide, she just did great. I could always linger in between to take a mood from the respective place.
I had deliberately booked the "big" day tour. As a recommendation, I would split the tour into two parts. All the impressions and moments and also information of Kabita "slain" me. But she couldn't help it because the number was on the booked program.

I did this activity last October 19, 2024. My guide was Ananta. It was a day full of activities . So much to learn in such a short time ( in a good way). My awesome guide Ananta was very informative. He was very passionate about telling me the history of the different landmarks we went to. He talks fast trying to give me all the information at each places. There were times I didn’t understand what he was trying to convey but he was easy to talk to and didn’t mind repeating himself. He made sure that I was having a great time. I didn’t feel rushed and despite a packed activity, he never showed being tired and showed enthusiasm the whole time. Thanks Ananta!

Hi, I am a solo female traveler and would be interested in this tour (mid to late July 2024) though hoping to do so within a group, joining another solo raveler, couple, or small group. I notice that it is not the listed price of $180 U.S, but rather, $260, wondering why the additional surcharge? I am assuming then, this will be a private tour if so?

Mine was a private tour with an excellent guide. She really knew her stuff and was able to add in things of particular interest to me- visiting an art studio. The driver managed the route really well. Highly recommend this tour, it really is value for money.

Yes, you will pick up by them in time. It is 12 hrs one day trip which cover all 7 World heritage sites of Kathmandu. You can go head of booking.
