From my own experience, I would say the Langtang Trek is an excellent choice for those seeking a blend of mountain adventure and Bhuddist culture. All along the path you will make Tamang, Sherpa and Tibetan friends, and stumble upon Gumba after Gumba, sacred shrines, surrounded by breathtaking peaks inhabitated by wild yaks and mules. From day one, Dhrub and Binod treated me like a friend. They made sure everything would go smoothly, that I had all the necessary gear and that I was satisfied. I went at the end of August, in full monsoon season, so it rained quite a bit, but I enjoyed myself every step of the way; the bus ride to syaprubesi, the lower valley trekking and upper valley mountain trekking were memorable, in great part because Dhrub is so skilled and knowledgeable as a guide. Highly recommended.

Due to a landslide causing disruption to one groups travels to Pokhara we ended up all in langtang as a larger group, with 3 individual guides, Sagar (SK), Toran and Dhrub, who ended up acting as guides to us all.
I can honestly say trek was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Langtang was breathtaking, and despite monsoon season, we were really lucky with the views and weather. It was the perfect place to go during the monsoon because the mixture of nature, environment and culture created a really fulfilling trek.
Sagar was the guide for myself and another female friend, and he was fantastic. He made us both feel so comfortable, and his gentle nature and in depth knowledge of the mountains made the whole group feel very safe, even during more stressful times! He always had an encouraging word for anyone who needed it, and looked after me so nicely when I had some issues with the altitude. Highly recommend playing cards with Sagar…if you like to laugh!!
Toran was originally the guide for 2 of our friends in the group, and was amazing. He pushed us all, and could usually be found popping up ahead with something foraged nearby. His knowledge of the local communities, religions and nature made for great conversation. When Torans group left, I made the decision to go with them due to illness and he was really kind, and made me feel very safe.
Dhrub was the guide for another guy, who was also trekking in langtang, and we ended up as one larger group in the tea houses and lunchtimes. He was also great, and we all looked forward to meeting them each afternoon. His high energy and positive attitude rubbed off on everyone, and he had the whole group laughing together by the first day.
Thank you also to Bino, who organised the trek for us and helped us to explore the different options, no question was too many!!

I had a very nice time in the Langtang Valley! The food is amazing up there and also the people are very nice. Everywere are nice viewing points and there is amazing nature to See. I loved the trek up there especialiy to see the mountains and the Yaks. I also enjoyed the time with my guide SK. He tried to make everything posible and gave me a safe feeling the whole time. Thank you!!!

I did the langtang trek with dhrub. It was a really challenging experience since I never did any treks or any hiking before. But dhrub was very flexible and caring, whenever I needed a break, we stopped and took things a littler bit slower (or as we said: chanti, chanti😂). I felt very safe while trekking with him.
The trek felt a little bit like an all inclusive vacation. Before booking I got all the information I needed and after booking, everything was taken care of: the permits, the bus tickets, the food, the hotels and every other small detail.
From the first day on, Bino treated me like his own family. We spend a lot of time together. He showed me around Kathmandu and we got good friends really fast.
Bino even helped me to fulfill a dream I did have. I came to Nepal because my indian Visa expired (it was only one month). With the help of Bino, I now have a 5 year indian visa. I dont know if I would have gotten it without Bino🙏
It was a really wonderful experience to trek and stay at shangri-la. If it was possible I would give more than 5 stars

I did a 7 day trek with Toran. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The views were spectacular, food was excellent and the people were friendly. Toran was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond make sure I had a safe and enjoyable trek. I appreciative the Travelmaker’s team and Toran for making my experience nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend Travelmaker and Toran to other fellow trekkers.

I came back to Nepal in 2021 after a great time in 2018 and yet again the team at Travel Maker, headed up by SK, looked after me and arranged an amazing 13 day trek through the Langtang region.
My Guide Dhrub was great: knowledgeable, professional and a good laugh the whole way which made the walks all the more enjoyable! Bidur was also a great helper, I would highly recommend this duo to help with your treks in the future. And finally the trek itself was immense, if you're looking for something a bit closer to Kathmandu but with equally amazing 360 views then this trek is for you.
Whenever I come back to Nepal I will always reach out to these guys.
My Guide Dhrub was great: knowledgeable, professional and a good laugh the whole way which made the walks all the more enjoyable! Bidur was also a great helper, I would highly recommend this duo to help with your treks in the future. That has been one life-changing experience with the great guide Toran. He knows what he is doing and has lots of experience. Amazing human. Knows many people in the that Valley. In the middle of the coronavirus crisis, Toran was extremely serene and helpful, conversations were amazing and he reacted to every situation like the pro he is, with kindness and patience.
The landscapes are as beautiful as you could never imagine if you haven´t been in the Himalaya. I´ll go back!

I stayed at Shangri La Boutique Hotel for my second time this fall, and the place and the people was as amazingly nice as always. They hooked me and my friends up with an amazing trip on the langtang trek, with an awesome guide (Sudip). The experience was all in all fun breathtakingly beautiful, I would, and have, recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and beautiful adventure!

I did the Langtang Valley Trek and went up on Tserko Ri. My guide was Dhrub and we head a great time togheter. He is always cheerful and helpful. I really liked the beatiful trek and the amazing view on Tserko Ri. Also I had a nice insight in the local lifestyle of the tibetian people.

I Visited Nepal last September with 3 of my friends, we stayed at Shangi-la Boutique the whole time we were there and it was awesome. The staff at Shangri-La are very friendly and helpful, especially The manager Binod, who helped us find the right trek and recommended places to see in Kathmandu. We had a great time overall, but the highlight of our trip was the Langtang trek with our guide Sudip. The trek took us 7 days, and we enjoyed all of them. Sudip was great at sharing his knowledge of the mountains, nature, and culture, which made the trek much more enjoyable. Besides that we spent many evenings (also when we returned from the trek), playing cards or chess with Sudip. The team at Shangri-La Boutique is great, it's hard to find a place like this anywhere else. So if you are going to Nepal I would recommend staying I Shangri-La Boutique hotel and using Travelmaker and they're guides to go trekking. I myself hope to return to Nepal, and Shangri-La, in the near future and see more of beautiful Nepal.
