Trekking to Everest Base Camp organised by Sublime Trails 1/5/18-15/5/18
珠峰和尼泊尔，一个我响往已久的地方，终于在今年五月实现了。我们一行五个人，开始登山于2/5/18，尼泊尔特别，因为爬山时会经过许多村庄，每个村庄都有它的特色，风景肯定是漂亮，加上天气凉爽，一行人都边走边拍照，欣赏风景，很是开心，当到达越高的地方，当然还有雪山和珠峰看咯！食物有西式和中式，自由点方式，这点有伸缩性，好! 我们的mountain guide Bikram Khadka, 很有耐性，对走得慢的人，他会等，偶尔疲倦时，他就忙着帮我们点菜，拿水，拿背包，虽然看到我们很疲倦，也只是叫我们早点休息，还是鼓励我们到达basecamp,对我们，他真是尽心尽力,将来如有第二个尼泊尔爬山，我是会找回他的，mountain guide 很多，要遇到好的，也不容易。也感谢他们安排的porter,帮我们背背包，也准时送背包到各个目的地。最后要感谢Sublime Trails老板Ram Khadka，对我们在Kathmandu时的照顾，安排我们到各个餐馆吃我们想吃的时物，最重要的他圆了我们想看珠峰的梦。这趟尼泊尔之旅,收获太多了，除了看美景，也看到了奇人，又幸运的结识了新朋友，也增添了些新的感悟在我的人生里，尼泊尔之旅，不枉此行!有机会，我还会去的。

Guide Ajit is well-versed and knows the precise details of what it takes to do a successful trek in the mountains of Nepal. Only an experienced guide will tell you to take the safer wall side of a narrow trail when mules are carrying heavy loads through the same path. He collaborated with Ram to ensure a smooth trip for all of us. I'm also thankful that I was grouped with some of the most amazing people (fellow trekkers) on the trek.
Although the teahouses on the trail are basic, Sublime Trails did their best to make us comfortable throughout. I certainly rate them an A+ to do a trek in the Everest region and the mountains of Nepal.

We always planned to trek to the base camp of Everest. A series of Google searches led us to Sublime Trails, a company that has been organizing a peculiar kind of Everest trekking that ends the ascent with a night at Everest base camp.
The classic trek was better than we’d expected. I started to experience altitude issues at Dingboche but our guide Mr. Suman did the best he could in the mountains, set the pace right and kept checking on me. The lodges are awesome, they served hot soups and made me feel a lot better. But I still think the view is what cured my issues, call me superstitious.
The tents at Everest Base Camp serve better food and hospitality than you’d assume. They could easily be graded 3-star. Trust me when I say this, spending a night at Everest under the perfect canopy of stars changes you in a way. I felt moved on a deeper spiritual level, and I believe it sparked a fire in me to not take life for granted.
I would totally do it again. Sublime Trails and the team deserves all the praise. You guys are the real heroes, thanks for organizing this.

My husband Patrick and I were a little worried about trekking the Everest trail in spring because of high traffic at this time. But thankfully, we chose the amazing Sublime Trails team to be our travel partner. They took care of everything in the backend so we could enjoy our trek without worries. They set the pace just right, with proper acclimatization plans, and both of us completed this trip with no issues. Will surely get in touch with Ram for our next Nepal adventure.

Flexibility at its Peak
We gave this review the title above because Mr. Ram (the owner of Sublime Trails) and his crew, Mr. Bibek (our youthful and dynamic guide for EBC trek), Mr. Bikas (strong Sherpa, problem solver), and Mr. Mohan (resilient Sherpa, motivator), were so accommodating to our needs.
Being family of 3 and having a little child with us made us quite exposed during the journey, yet they treated us like we were invincible and eliminated any signs of weakness with ease. In this context, I'd like to provide the John Wooden remark that seems most applicable to the aforementioned squad "It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen."
Despite the fact that we were unable to complete the trek, we continue to remain in awe of the Himalayas. After the trek, M/S. Sublime went above and beyond to ensure that our Nepal vacation was really unforgettable and "A trip of a lifetime" by arranging for us to visit Chitwan National Park and Pokhara.
We can state without a shadow of a doubt that Nepal is the most beautiful place on Earth for two reasons: the Himalaya, and the people of Nepal.
We would like to stress for the "Healing Sound Bowl", that we purchased, is a wonderful miracle of modern technology, and it even has a name for itself: The Sanskrit mantra "om mani padme hum" consists of six syllables and serves as a reminder and means of relieving the stresses of daily living.
We are not finished with Nepal just yet; we plan to return with the same group and give it another go in the hopes of gaining the satisfaction that comes from completing a difficult journey.

April 1st week 2023, I successfully completed my trek to Everest Base Camp in just 6 days, and returned via helicopter to Kathmandu on day-7. We were a small group of three (my 16 year old son, my brother and I), and we are glad to have done this trek with Sublime Trails. Ram (owner and manager of Sublime Trails company) did excellent in planning the logistics and executing this trek.
Ram is very helpful from the moment I planned this trek 3 months ago, and when I first contacted Ram. He extended his support before and well after the trek was completed. Ram offered to keep our extra luggage bags at his office location, while we were out at the trek. When we arrived back to Kathmandu a few hours earlier, Ram helped with getting us a hotel room for 3-4 hours so we could take a shower, freshen up and pack-up. Ram arranged and took care of the shuttle from the airport, and back to the airport once the trek.
Our trek guide, Prakash Adhikari is an excellent guide, who explained every detail of the trek, shared great details about the trail, the monuments we see along the way and the various mountain peaks we see. From making sure we ordered the best food and tea along the trek, to offering medical help when we were struggling with altitude sickness, Prakash has been hugely helpful. Without Prakash’s continuous care and support, this trek would not have been as smooth and as successful.
In complete honesty, we did not enjoy the hotel stays during the EBC trek. Pretty much all hostels we stayed were of poor quality and lack basic amenities, however, I completely understand that this is outside of Sublime Trails’ control and the hotel accommodation situation is as such not very good throughout EBC. I believe that Ram did everything possible in his hands and control to make our trip very successful and comfortable.
Overall Ram & Prakash’s hospitality is much appreciated. I recommend my friends and others interested in doing EBC trek to consider going with Sublime Travels and ask for Prakash as the guide.

The EBC trek is really amazing! Ram takes care of every single detail… from the time you arrive to Kathmandu you feel welcome and safe. I took this trek with another two friends (all woman), and discovered a lot of single girls hiking along. A few tips if you are planning yoir EBC hike with sublime tours:
- Its possible to go solo, or in a small or big group, either way you will always feel safe
- A guide is always with you, ask for Ajit because he is THE BEST. Really patient, explains everything, always with a smile and also photo skills
- We were worried about food, theres no need to be. You have a lot of choices
- The tea houses are good, but you have to keep in mind that above 4000m water freesez (be prepared)
- Ram and Ajit check personally all your stuff for the hike, they got you covered with the sleeping bag so you dont have to travel with it
I recommend 100%, sublime trail will make everything possible and will customize your trip to your needs and time

Went for 2 weeks. Was really cool trek, had a great time, very well organised. Guide was great and my experience in Nepal was very good with Sublime!

We booked our Everest Base Camp Trek with Sublime Trails this November. The rate we paid for this trip was the most affordable one. Having said this, there was no compromise on our meals and accommodation. Our guide was very fluent with English. And he was entertaining as well.
Our flight from Ramechap was on time. Started from Lukla, we had no issues on this Trek. Our two days of acclimate at Namche and Dingboche was best. Our guide took us near Island Peak Base Camp from Dingboche.
The company we choosed for this Trek was absolutely amazing. Our itinerary were on point. Everything was well managed. It was amazing experience. Thank you Sublime Trails for your hospitality and successful Trek. Looking forward for some Trek soon with you.

My Everest experience was sublime just like my travel agent Sublime Trails. Mr Ram Khadka was a energetic guy with humble communication and in touch. He arranged this trip with some discounts, thanks to him. My guide Shiva was fantastic with camera and guiding. Our meals throughout the trek was good. Our accommodations were also good. The entire tour experience was fantastic. Kudos to this best company for the best service.
