We booked our Kalinchowk trip from Hike on Travel and trek and they managed our trip very well ,had wonderful experience.

My experience with Hike on Travel and Trek: Advertised cost for Kalinchowk package tour was Rs 4,500 per person (2 day/1 night). Recently, I booked the same package tour for 3 person at Rs 5,000 per person (the rate was higher because I booked this package with 2 rooms for 3 person). I was informed that if their vehicle can’t reach Kalinchowk, we have to pay Rs 300 per person extra for another vehicle. This was the deal. But The driver dropped us at Deurali then we have to manage public transportation ourselves to go to Kalinchowk and the extra cost was Rs 800 per person. When we reached the said hotel, rooms were not booked for us. I made so many phone calls to the agency then we got only one room with 2 beds for 3 persons though we paid for 2 rooms. When we returned, we had to manage public transportation from Kalinchowk to Deurali and extra cost for this was Rs 1,300 per person. While returning, we asked for lunch at 1 pm but they did not provide lunch at that time. With many talks with them they provided lunch for us at 7pm (is this lunch!). The agency compelled us to wait for their other guests to returned Kathmandu and the agency promised me that they will drop me at Swoyambhu as they got delayed. But the driver forcefully dropped me off at Koteshwor at 9 pm. I called the agency and he told me that he is sending another vehicle to pick me up from Koteshwor to drop me at Swoyambhu then he switched off his phone. This was disaster.

worst experience . Scam,Looting money and no service,They charged extra money but they did not even provide basic faciltiies . Transportation charge was paid extra double times,NO proper lunch time,Lunch was served at evening time,They promised to drop at nearb place but dumped the passenger at one hr distance far form home(via bus) at 9 pm at night. where no bus were available at that time,.If they hadnot agrree to drop at nearby place, we would be self prepared. such a bad travel angency.Thugs and scams

Such a bad service. Transport/Hotel/Facilities were not provided as they mentioned it while taking the payment. The employees are so rude they cut the call and block them if a customer is complaining about something. We were 8 passengers and 6 of us were scammed in terms of money and service. I would never recommend it to anyone
