I climbed and summited Mt Everest with Jamling as part of the Singapore Women’s Everest Team expedition in May, 2009. We climbed the classic route from the south side, Nepal.
The expedition took place over 2 months and throughout the journey, Jamling was both highly professional in his climbing and technical skills, and also deeply caring as a guide. He was patient and gentle during the acclimatization phase when I was getting used to the altitude, and was always on the lookout for danger. His expertise came in especially handy when we went through the hairy Khumbu icefall route (several times!) and also on the technically challenging Hilary Step.
I count it a blessing to be able to climb with him, and cannot recommend him more to other climbers.

In 2019 I travelled twice with Ever Quest Expeditions. My culture tour throughout Kathmandu Valley in March was perfectly organized by Jamling Bhote and packed full of unique cultural highlights. It was my first contact with Nepal and a perfect start to get a fantastic insight of the country and people. On base of may beautiful experiences I booked my second trip again with Ever Quest Expeditions. My trekking tour now through Annapurna Conservation Area was perfectly organized and guided in the same way and leaving no wishes unfulfilled. The all the time close contact to local people and the trekking tour itself with a magnificent distance guidance by a giant scenery leave stunning and lasting impressions in my memories.
Once again, my warmest thanks goes to Jamling Bhote and his excellent and gentle team for their great service.
I am glad to see you all in 2020 again - next tour is already planed with Ever Quest Expeditions!

I have been climbing with Jamling's EverQuest since 2014
(check my comments in the "What clients say" section on EverQuest website):
5 Everest xps, 4 Lobuche and 1 Island Peak. Great guide, experienced and knowledgeable, friendly and never stingy. The "Bhote Gang" (Jamling employs mostly Tibetans from Nepal, relatives) are awesome. A real clan you are part of, even as a Belgian. After strikes, earthquakes, bad weather and unbearable heat turned me down, I could finally summit the Big E last May 23rd. Please read
my articles on Everest 2019 in the nepali Times ("Overkill on Everest" and "Because We Are There")It was a magnificent experience, the strongest experience and most beautiful in my 55 years on this planet.
Experienced guides and staff (Temba, Duckchung, Rinjin, Dambar and co., TUJICHEY!), excellent planning and logistics, easy-going decison-making, but VERY serious, sufficient supplies of O2, that's the recipe for success, even in a very dramatic Everest season!

Everquest Expeditions led by Jamling Bhote organised my expeditions to Ama Dablam (2017), Manaslu (2018) and Everest South Side (2019). Jamling is no stranger to Singapore and South East Asian climbers and has led several successful Everest and K2 expeditions to date. For both my 8000m expeditions which resulted in summits, I have nothing but praise and admiration for Jamling’s organisational skills, his 100% commitment to client success and safety, as well as his warmth and good humour. On Everest this year, despite the dangers posed by the queues, we had a safe expedition largely because Jamling planned for such eventualities and ensured adequate supply of O2 and Sherpa support. At base camp, where we spent much time, life was made as comfortable as it could possibly be, thanks to his good natured and obliging crew. We climbed as friends and family at Everquest, not as clients. Jamling’s philosophy is to ensure that clients have the best experience on the mountains and that Everquest does everything possible to ensure that their objectives are realised in a safe and memorable manner. Looking forward to the next big climb with these guys in 2020 and beyond!

It was a month long solo climb trip arranged by Ever Quest Expeditions. Jamling Bhote was my guide and we have a porter, Pasang.
Jamling is also the founder of Ever Quest. He is extremely experienced in climbing and guiding with multiple summits on Everest, K2 and many other 6000 to 8000m peaks. He was highly recommended to me after i failed my 2nd attempt of Island Peak in 2018.
The ease of communication with him via WhatsApp prior to the trip help tremendously to build my confidence.
During the climb, i can feel and see that every aspects were well thought of to ensure my safety, comfort and maximum chance of success. To the credit of Ever Quest, Jamling and Pasang, I succeeded to summit the 3 peaks within a month. It was the best climb of my lifetime.
