I've had great experiences traveling with Rainbow Safari bus. Their comfortable and clean vehicles made my journey enjoyable. I appreciate the hard work of the company, who ensures a smooth and safe ride for all passengers.

We booked with this company via 12go website to have bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan.
We were good on time in Kathmandu bus station and walked past all buses (which were a lot) looking for our bus. Spoiler alert; there was no bus from this company.
So we saw another bus with Rainbow travels on it, went there and asked. Apparently this was a different company with same name. Luckily some other company guys helped us, and they dragged us from bus to bus, eventually we were dropped at a bus named Bobu and driver decided we could go with them.
Once in bus I called them and asked what was going on. Apparently no bus from them would go to Chitwan. Okay… but would be good if this was communicated to us?? Now it was not clear.
The bus at first did not have AC and seats were horrible, so uncomfortable. Also no water as promised.
On way back from Chitwan to Kathmandu it was same problem. I tried calling this company three times on the day before we would leave, they did not pick up the phone.
Again no bus there, now we could come along with another bus, which was comfortable.
Very bad service, you can better book with the different rainbow company directly. This was just terrible and I feel bad that we spent money on these people while they did not even have a bus.

We sincerely apologize for the extremely disappointing experience you had with our bus service. It is unacceptable that you encountered such significant issues, including the lack of a scheduled bus, the initial discomfort of the replacement bus, and the difficulty in reaching our customer service.
Due to the off-peak season with minimal passenger numbers, we implemented a shared service arrangement with maintain scheduled departures. Our bus operated on one day, while the other company’s bus operated on the alternating day. This arrangement is why you faced such difficulties with your booking.
We understand that this has caused you considerable stress and frustration, and we assure you that this is not reflective of the service we aim to provide.
Your feedback is invaluable to us as it helps us identify and rectify problems within our operations.

We travelled from pokhara to chitwan. The bus is good but our luggage was full of Motor oíl when we got it back. Everything was dirty, cloth, shoes etc. Nobocy care and we complained afterwards with thr company and didn't even get a respond. So we didn't travel anymore with this company! They don't make themselves responsible, and imagine to get your entire backpack full of oil, used one of my vacation days to get this washed out - which didn't work so far

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the motor oil leakage that affected your luggage. This incident was due to a malfunction in the engine pipe, caused by the poor road conditions, which caused a stone to hit and damage the pipes, leading to oil spilling onto your belongings.

Taking the Rainbow Tours and Travels bus from Kathmandu to Chitwan was awesome. The bus was on time, super comfy, and we got to see amazing views along the way. The staff was really nice, making the journey fun. It was the perfect start for our Chitwan Jungle Safari adventure. Totally recommend it.
