I had a great tour today with Harry. The railway market was amazing. I enjoyed a boat ride to the floating market and tasted delicious noodles and mangoes at the market. All in all, I highly recommend this tour.

Both the railway market and floating market are unique, authentic Thai experiences, very exciting, especially for someone from the West.

Go with Nemo - you’ll enjoy a wonderful time and she is most informative. We learned a lot about Thailand as well as the markets.
Truly, Nemo was terrific, I’d happily take her tour of anything!
Mr. Mark, the driver, was very thoughtful accommodating our interests on the drive.
And Nemo saved us by finding a cash machine that accepted AmEx. You will be glad to go with Nemo - anywhere!!

Harry was an amazing tour guide full of knowledge. He talked about the history and gave us hints and plenty of suggestions. He knew shortcuts around the venues. This is because he has been to these venues over 1000 times and everywhere he turns the local people seem to know him. He made the tour very fun and personable.
Let’s not forget Mr V, our driver. He got us to the next destination and picked us up in very convenient locations.
We couldn’t ask for a better tour guide in Harry and driver in Mr V.

Amazing experience, our tour guid Lek was absolutely amazing, Lek has so much knowledge and was super friendly. We went on the 7am tour which we would recommend to everyone as we got amazing views of the train oncoming and we there was no queue for the boat for the floating market.

We went to Maeklong Railway Market first and had the luxury of eating freshly cooked fried rice with icy drinks while waiting for the train to ease in. We then explored the market for awhile with Peter, our wonderful guide, buying us mangosteens and sticky rice candy to try. Next was Damnoensaduak Floating Market where we had a long tail boat to ourselves to explore the canal. Peter made sure we stopped for coconut pancakes and mango sticky rice to try.

Our tour guide Gwen and driver Nond were excellent and very professional. Nond was always accessible at each stop and helped us get everywhere on time. Gwen was very friendly and knowledgeable of every place we went and knew all of the great stops and short cuts. She had great recommendations of what foods we should try and personalized the tour to fit what we wanted to do. I cannot say enough great things about her!

We fly in from Laos the morning of January 31st at 9:05 am. Can we book this tour and have it start a little later? We could ride in the Airport Link and MRT to meet you. There is 7 of us. Four adults and three children; 10, 8, 5.

Due to Damnoensaduak Floating market closed at noon (12:00 pm.). And the train passing Maeklong railway market has a fixed schedule time (Highlight activity is to watch the train passing the market).
Therefore, we will not be able to see the highlights and visit Damnoensaduak Floating market in time, if we started the tour later than 07:00 a.m.
Therefore, if needed to start late, we recommend to book another of our tour name "Private Excursion to Maeklong Railway and Amphawa Floating Markets", which start from hotel in Bangkok at 13:00 p.m. and return to hotel around 20:00 p.m, instead.

Thank your for your inquiry. We afraid we could not arrive the markets in time to see the highlights. If your flight arrives Bangkok at 08:30 a.m. The best time to leave airport would be about 10:00-10:30 a.m. We normally drive about 2.5 - 3 hours from airport to the markets.
The highlight of Maeklong market is to see the train passing the market which the train to Maeklong market arrival time is at 11:00-11:30 a.m.
And Damnoensaduak Floating market close at 12:00 p.m. (noon). So, we could not arrive the markets in time.
And this tour also not include airport transfer.
Therefore, we could not recommend this tour due to the above reason.
We recommend the tour in Bangkok instead.
