Muay Thai can be learned at any age and to compete this is 19 years old. All fighters are of legal age.
I am sorry that you did not agree of 80 Baht for a beer (this is only 2.5 USD) and I am not sure what price point you would like at a sporting event?

A great introduction to the art of Muay Thai. The fight card was a variety of skill levels so that, even though each fight wasn't at a professional skill level, you could appreciate the growth in skill with each fight. Our service at ringside was fantastic and we had a very memorable evening.

I went to Chiang Mai to purposely catch a Monster fish and I caught loads. Visited Tiger Kibgdom, Thai Muay boxing, midnight markets etc.

Great experience. Wasn’t sure what to expect but my son really enjoyed it. Saw about 5 or 6 fights and were sitting ringside. Very easy to find stadium in old town Chiangmai. You can get drinks there. Incredible to watch so close.

A great night out. - we were made to feel very welcome at the fight - it was a really great experience. The fighters didn’t hold back and we saw some great Thai boxing. We purchased at the event and saved ourselves 50% off the advertised price - we paid 1000 baht for ringside seats. Drinks were sensibly priced and we found a local fun bar ! Highly recommended night

Amazing experience! We got very good seats, we could see the matches very well. Definitely cheaper if you buy tickets with I Asia Thailand. The prices for drinks are reasonable as there is a server walking around. Fights were excellent and the atmosphere electric

Great fight. Fighters are teenagers, ladys, and young adults. Suggest you come around 9 pm after the warm ups. We had great seats and a clear view and its a great atmosphere

After reading some reviews on various sights, I was apprehensive about the legitimacy of the fights and overall experience, but I was way keener to go and hope for the best. So glad we did!
We got tickets from a general tourist activity place, the night of, about 2 hours before it was due to start (for 100b cheaper than the advertised price). They offered a pickup from our hotel, also.
We watched 6 fights, mostly fighters under the age of 20 (not little children like some people have been writing), but all of which were legit fights as far as I'm concerned. They were hitting the **** out of each other, with tact and precision.
The arena was a cool outdoor spot, under cover, but plenty of fresh air. We got the cheapest seats, which were about 1 metre away from the ones for double the price, so absolutely no need to spend that money. A big bottle of Chang was 120b, so super reasonable. Good mix of Thais and foreigners!
I couldn't recommend more highly to go.
