Our trip to Doi Inthanon with Trip Guru and guide Jackie was an unforgettable experience. The tour was perfectly timed, giving us just the right amount of time at each spot. We started by visiting the pagodas, and with the weather cooperating, we were treated to stunning views. Next, we walked through the national park on a peaceful trail surrounded by the lush forest, which was truly refreshing.
We also visited a farm, coffee plantation, and the Karen tribe village, where we learned more about local culture and traditions. The final stop at the waterfall was a highlight—seeing the rainbow over the cascading water was magical.
Jackie, our guide, played a crucial role in making the trip special. His vast knowledge of Buddhism and Thai culture added depth to the experience. At first, it might seem like a lot of information, but having someone explain the significance of the temples, parks, and pagodas made the whole tour more meaningful. Jackie was incredibly patient, took plenty of photos for us, and allowed us time to explore without rushing.
He’s a great conversationalist, sharing interesting facts along the way and even discussing different cultures, all while keeping the mood light and fun. A family man, he made the trip enjoyable with his humor and warmth. As a nice gesture, they even offered us desserts during the tour. Overall, a wonderful experience with a guide who made it even more memorable!

Despite the bad weather, the tour was exciting and worth seeing. The rain the day before made the waterfall even more impressive than usual. The tour guide was very friendly, could answer questions and take great photos. Thank you!

It was a very nice experience. Hotel pick up is on time and the van is comfortable. I slept all the way to the first stop of the tour.
The pagodas is beautiful and the tour guide explains the history behind. Afterwards, we went for a little hike in a trail and visited a waterfall. After lunch, we visited a local village which is quite interesting to me as I like exploring the local culture and local life of each country I visited.
Overall, it is a brilliant experience.

We really enjoyed our trip around Doi Inthanon. Our guide Thananat Inburi was really informative and we learnt all about the park, local people and the pagodas. Some great views as well as tasty coffee with the Karen People.
Would recommend the trip to anyone.

It was beautiful and very romantic and our guide Nick took a lot of photos of us, paid attention to each individual in the group and led the whole group brilliantly through the day.

Koi or goi was excellent with information, friendly and resourceful. She informed us of all the information pertaining to Chiangmai just not about our tour. Every bit of our tour we are all well informed from head to toe plus even the flower festivals and the night bazaars

A long day with a very good guide who was very attentive and full of stories and knowledge which made a lot of difference. We looked round a village coff shop run on a cooperative system and tried different brews. The village was interesting but we both felt very "nosy" and that there were too many tourists gawping at the local people. It was a little embarrassing. The temples were amazing and the lunch in the village really good. Good value for money. Take something to put round your shoulders as the temperature is cooler up on the mountain.

I went solo on this tour with my guide, G. Nana, and driver, George. It was so excellent. First, the natural beauty you see on the tour is incredible. The twin pagodas surrounded by flowers are so peaceful, and the plant and animal life in the park is so diverse. The village tour offers delicious coffee and tea, as well as some very tasty fruits. The people are all so welcoming.
Nana is a fantastic guide. She walks with you every step of the way and gives you great information. They were nice enough to pick me up at the airport and drop me off at my hotel, while offering me water along the way. The restaurant she took me to was some of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Nana is so kind and welcoming. You can tell she enjoys showing people her home. George drives smoothly and at a good pace too.

Any chance of letting us know the time of the pickup and the time of the drop off at the end of the tour?

Well my pick up was at 8am and returned at 8pm. Good tour but a bit annoying as we were told earlier and had dinner plans but had to cancel. Really depends on group. My group were just super slow and some people were late being picked up as they were not ready.

It depends...there are a few steps up and down to some of the waterfalls and nature trails. But nothing to force you to do this...you'd just miss out. At Doi Inthanon there are elevators at the Twin Pagodas going up but steps coming down.

Is it suitable to bring kids? How long is the walk? We want to bring our kids to the countryside but they are quite small so the walk can't be too long.

Its suitable. There arent big walks. Just for maximum of half an hour and its colder on the mountains, so you dont have the sun and such a heat like in the city.
