Great Way to Experience Doi Inthanon

This tour was a great opportunity to see many aspects of Doi Inthanon in about 2/3 of a day, which was all we had available on our trip. To best honest, it felt rushed at times going from place to place, but that is what you get for wanting to see it all. You get to see a fantastic waterfall, visit the village of a native tribe that lives in the park (without it feeling exploitative of the Karen tribe), do a short trek to the summit of Doi Inthanon, and see the pagodas.

Our guide, Ize, was friendly and gave great details about all the places we visited. We thought the tour could have done without the last visit to a local market, which felt a bit too commercial, but otherwise we wouldn't have changed a thing. We had a wonderful time.

Empfehlenswerter Ausflug

Wir wurden kurz vor 8 Uhr an unserem Hotel geholt. Zuerst ging es an einen sehr schönen Wasserfall. Danach in ein Dorf wo es Kaffee und Tee zum probieren gab. Daraufhin gab es ein leckeres Mittagessen in diesem Bergdorf. Wir sind dann an den höchsten Punkt Thailands gefahren, wo es sehr klar war (ca.12 Grad). Danach ging es noch an die Twin Pagodas. Leider war es als wir dort waren sehr neblig, weshalb wir die Türme kaum sehen konnten. Alles Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich im Nationalpark, wobei die Eintrittsgebühr 400THB beträgt, die am Morgen Bar eingesammelt werden. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Trip, um die schöne Natur Thailands in verschiedenen Facetten zu erkunden.

Lovely tour

Ize was our guide and very informative and helpful. We did have heavy rain at the king and queens temple but it was still worth it .
Walks at the peak through the palace was beautiful Would have liked some more trekking.

Highly recommend - great sight seeing and learning experience
The guide was absolutely brilliant at explaining the itinerary for the day. Her English was great and also taught us some words in Thai! We visited the park, waterfall, pergolas, had some delicious local food with the Karen tribe and tasted their fresh coffee. We finished off the trip visiting a Market on the way to being dropped off at our hotel.

Nice day trip from Chiang Mai
Nice place.. Waterfall is great and the pagodas but it was raining in between.. Ensure to pack jackat and raincoat.. Good for a day trip from Chiang Mai.

Good tour of Doi Inthanon

Good tour overall. They let us know when they were on the way to pick up from hotel. Guide was very knowledgeable, and we had a good amount of time at each stop on the tour. It was too cloudy to see much at the pagodas, normal for that time of year.

Great tour guide. Everything was explained well throughout. Very knowledgeable. Shame about the wet weather, but still the tour included lots of great cultural activities.

Great Day Out With Lots to See!

Great day out with lots to see and experience without rushing around. Transport was good to and from all the sites we visited. We did catch a few showers being in August, which obstructed some of the beautiful views of the park but still was amazing. When visiting the waterfall, TAKE A RAIN COAT as you will get wet from the sprays. Highlight of the day was definitely visiting the Karen village and learning and trying out the different Coffee and Tea they produce and the benefits they bring. You also have the opportunity to support the village by purchasing some of the tea and coffee which you will want to after the tasting session.

Absolutely a must go tour, the guides are so nice and the are very knowledgeable. Amazing water fall and villages on the highest point of Thailand. We had lunch in the village which was so fresh and delightful. Thank you very much for showing us the beautiful Thai mountain
