What a great day! We rarely, if ever do group tours but this was the best way to see Doi Inthanon and it was terrific! Mumu, our guide, was excellent and everything about the tour was first rate. I would highly recommend it.

An interesting day but a fair bit of hanging around and felt a bit like a zoo of people all on the same tour being ferried around by different vans. Traditional Thai food in the village was nice and so was the stroll around but stopping at the market for 20 mins on way back was a bit of hard sell. Guide was helpful and informative.

This trip was spectacular, our guide Piano took good care of us.
We chose the 1.45 hr hike option and were a little apprehensive as to how hot/demanding the trail would be, however it was absolutely fine. The heat is a little cooler up the mountain and the views and nature we saw were completely worth it. The hike ended up being the highlight of our trip so far.
Additionally, the King and Queen Pagodas were astounding we couldn’t quite believe our eyes.

Tomtam and the driver ( I forget your name I'm sorry ) we're absolutely phenomenal, the locations, the information, the helpfulness and the views we had on this tour were outstanding I'm so so glad I decided to do this and see this beautiful country in such a wonderful way, if you are reading this don't hesitate just do it !! Do the hike as well such amazing waterfalls and views

Excellent English speaking guide, Birdie. Highest point in all Thailand, views spectacular. Two waterfalls, two Pagodas, wonderful lunch.

Mu Mu was very informative and did a very good job providing history and explaining the culture. The trip did not have to be so long. Shopping could have been eliminated and less time at the various sites.

Had a great time! Saw so much of the Chiang Mai countryside. Ice was our tour guide and Tic was our driver. Ice was timely, patient, and knowledgeable about the area. Tic was an excellent driver.

We had a day full of visiting interesting places and saw many different parts of Chiang Mai and some of the surrounding areas. Our driver and guide Li La was excellent and very considerate. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were amazing. Facts and figures were readily given in a lighthearted way.

Any visit to Chiang Mai should be at least 4 days because there's lots to see, do, and taste. Thailand's tallest mountain, Doi Inthanon, Wachirathan Waterfall, the Royal Winter Palace, and the grand temple, Doi Suthep take a day each. Hire transport for these. As with every Thai city, there are plenty of exquisite temples to see in Chiang Mai. We found an electric bus for 200 baht that carried us to several and around outside the city walls. There is a Thai money museum that shouldn't be missed and the home of the paper umbrellas. Get your meals, and drinks, relax after a long day of walking, and enjoy varied, excellent free entertainment at the Night Market. We stayed at an excellent, reasonable hotel, Tapae Place. It is centrally located with underground parking, comfortable rooms, a breakfast buffet, and a pool. But in teh spring - Feb. - April air quality can suck.

Hi everyone! What fitness level is recommended for the tour? Is it manageable for a couch potato?

To answer my own question, it is manageable. The difficulty is maybe 2 out of 5, I guess. In the worst case, you need to take it a tad slower. The view is absolutely stunning and worth the effort. There are a lot of stairs however, so if you have trouble with your knees you may want to skip the hike.

You can wear anything is okay but not too short please becasue we will go inside the pagoda that has buddha statue. We do recommend bringing a jacket, it can feel a little cold on the top of mountain.

No, it's not. This tour is very relax so, you don't have to walk for 8 hours :p

Yes, we will visit the highest spot in Thailand (Roof of Thailand) then take a short walk by the nature trail for about 10 - 15 minutes :D
