Our experience was for zip line and white water rafting
Zip line
The helmets were filthy inside and they were one-size-fits-all. Many of them didn't have a means of fastening, they just sat on your head. Staff did not check whether helmets were secure. The webbing harnesses were old, showed signs of wear, and were dirty. There was no briefing at all. You get put in the back of a truck, driven to the top of the zip line, clipped on and sent down. The whole experience lasts less than 15 seconds.
White water rafting
I have done a lot of adrenalin activities but I have never, ever seen anything so badly run as they do here.
First, the staff put more effort into upselling to the 7km or 9km trip than they do for anything else. It's almost a high pressure sell. We did the 5km trip which we were assured was a gentle, easy trip. This is NOT a gentle' easy trip.
The helmets were as before, one size fits all (only if you have a small head), dirty outside, disgustingly grimy inside, with a lot of helmets having no fasteners. At no point did the staff check that the helmets are correctly fitted, or even that they fit your head.
The buoyancy aids were also filthy, worn, torn, with fasteners missing. Not a single buoyancy aid had a crutch strap which is essential to prevent the aid from going up and over your head if you go overboard. Also, not grab handle at the back of them, so you can't be easily pulled back onto a boat if you go over.
Again, at no point were the buoyancy aids checked for correct fitting or fastening. They just done care.
The full safety briefing was "sit on the side, put your feet into the foot straps, and hold the rope". The rope was makeshift and tied across the raft. That's it.
Whilst we were sitting in the raft waiting for the water to rise so we could start our trip downriver, the staff were sitting on the steps, most of them smoking. I won't say that they were ALL smoking joints, but there was a very strong smell of cannabis smoke coming from them.
When the trip started, it was just our 5 rafts. As we went down river we were joined by 6 more from another company, then another 5, then some more, and more, and more. I would estimate that there were at least 50, probably 70 or more, rafts from various companies, all going down the river at the same time.
Chaos does not even begin to describe this experience. The raft "captains" were more interested in splashing other boats, trying to steal each others oars, or trying to grab each other and pull them off their raft than they were in anything else. Every time the rafts came to a pinch point they were colliding with each other and causing jams, at least one raft went over with the occupants being thrown into the water. Two people lost their glasses which Sealand Company didn't care about. No-one was advised to not wear glasses, or to make sure they were strapped on - in fact, whilst doing their upsell bit, the staff were insistent that the 5km trip was a gentle ride. This is not so.

I am soo dissapointed!!
It was supposed to be a great trip but instead they just waisted time.
3 hours from patong and between attractions, in total we were more in the van than other things.
Also, they were supposed to give a 30 minutes ride on the elephant, instead after 5 minutes it was over and when I looked for the responsible no one was there. They tried to give us free pictures from the rafting.
Really bad!!!
It was supposed to be a great trip but instead they just waisted time.

The tour guides to much talk and you will wait long time and the driver every 5 minutes he stop the bus also for rafting the who was with us not friendly we not enjoyed

A good day out. First the bad point, it is a 2 hour drive from Patong Beach Area, then 2 hours back.
The ATV driving is medium to hard. Kids can do it also you can ride as a passenger, take plenty of water though it is provided in unlimited quantities, believe me you need it. Done ATV before in Hawaii and speed was restricted to 6Ks. This time we got to 18ks!!!!!
The White Water Rafting was good too but even the guides noted the lack of water at some points. extra water is sent down from a dam higher up when needed.
The lunch was provided and was great including TFC (Thai Fried Chicken)
Would I recommend?..........Yes
Would I do it again?.............Not really now I have done it a few times.
All in all a great day except for the travel.
