Such a lovely way to start the day. Perfect blend of Thai history, education about Buddhism and an opportunity to personally engage with someone willing to share their own experiences. Highly recommended

A beautifully serene and peaceful educational experience. I shed tears as I listened and participated in her “tour”.
The early start makes this visit so perfect because you beat the heat and you avoid the throngs of tourists arriving as many many tour busses show up just as you’re leaving.
I feel so fortunate that the monks allow us to quietly invade their space for this experience.

Amazing tour! Sunsanee is a fantastic guide and explained the different aspects of Buddhism and the different rituals, ceremonies stories and beliefs of Buddha and the monks of the Wat Chalong. So special to be able to take part in a morning ceremony with a monk, seeing the temple early almost empty. Would highly recommend!

This was an incredible experience. I was looking to learn more about the Buddhist culture, so seeing a temple was definitely on my travel list. Not only did I witness the temple before everyone else (wonderful picture opportunities), but I was able to learn about Buddhism, Phra Phrom, and small references to Hinduism. The ceremony was everything I expected it to be as well. I believe it to be very beautiful, and this experience only justified my belief. I highly recommend if you are interested in the teachings of Buddha, and the practices that follow.

A magnificent experience with my beautiful guide Sunsanee. She is a wonderful teacher and I learned so much about the Buddhist religion and its history. A most special and blessed morning. I was blessed to have my day coincide with Ok Phansa celebrating the end of Buddhist lent and marking the end of a 3 month monastic retreat for the monks. The Wat Chalong Temple is amazing and to learn about each part with a guide and to participate in beautiful rituals is a privilege and unique experience. I highly, highly recommend this tour as an absolute must do. This was the first tour that I did on arrival and it had set meaningfulness for the rest of my trip. I am so thankful to have had Sunsanee share her knowledge and stories with me 🙏❤️

A beautiful experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Sunsanee is a wonderful teacher and person and my partner and I were lucky enough to have her to ourselves on the morning of our tour. Thank you so much for sharing Buddhism with us - something we can all learn from and take with us. khàawp-khun khâ from Sydney, Australia 🙏🏽

It was the best experience I could have to finish my trip to Thailand. The immersion in the local culture and religion left me feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommended!

Outstanding experience. This was a highlight of our trip to Thailand. We toured many temples in Bangkok but never like this tour. We were lucky enough to happen to witness the celebration of a 20 year old becoming a Monk. Such joy, from the family and friends with music dancing and rituals. It was very moving. After this delightful surprise we continued on with our tour and were able to experience more of the customs and spiritual side of Buddhism. We participated in a prayer service to include being taught how to fold the lotus flower, lighting incense and being blessed be a monk. Each step of the way was explained which gave us insight into the customs and stories connected to the rituals. It was a very authentic spiritual experience.
