One of the worst Cruise services on Halong Bay! Pls ensure not to book ‘Le Journey Cruise’. The Boat is oldest in the lot and makes stepping sound all across. No music or fun activities in evening as was promised.
Food is really Good BTW!
The worst comes with their Manager. This guy called ‘Tim’ is a nightmare in name of hospitality industry. He misbehaves with most families- well of course till ur a westerner and he sees hope for $ tips. He fought with 3 of the Asian families and shouted at top of his voice. He literally didn’t take families for local sightings and left the boats. I wonder how this cheap fellow has managed to keep his job with such attitude. While all other Cruises were managing their guests professionally (making announcements, carrying flags for identification etc) ; this guy was behaving like he’s doing huge favor to us by taking us.
Pls avoid Le Journey Cruise!

Thank you very much for your sharing your feedback. We sincerely understand and sorry for your bad experience with Le Journey Cruise. As you know, Le Journey has 4 cruises from standard ( wooden) to luxury ( steel) cruises. For our products, we only use the new and good quality cruise. Moreover, we did not sell this tour to you. Please help us to write the review on where you bought the tour. Your review will affect to the good services/ good brand name from us. IF we recommended or arranged this cruise for you, you can write, but we did not.
We strongly disagreed with Le Journey Cruise for low services to customers. But we do hope that you should write the review for correct cruises/ travel agency. Best regards. Luan

Right from the pick up point to the drop point, the members of le journey ha long cruise was exceptional.
Mr. TIM took care of everyone very well. Tim explained us the intenary for the day and personally took us to the sightseeing places.
His expertise in the area is unmatchable.
Not to forget is amazing singing skills.
He also Organization cooking class for us. We made Vietnamese spring roll. I will surely not forget the 5 5 4 7 and will surely try making the rolls back home.
Thank you Tim the amazing experience.
Ti top hike, Kayaking in the rain, surprise cave exploration was soo beautiful to explore.
A must visit cruise and place in halong bay

It's pretty good considering I normally stay away from cruise options. The boat itself is nice though basic. I had a lower deck cabin without a balcony but it was comfortable. The crew were very friendly and helpful. Food options are good too though bar prices bit high.

Great trip. Amazing views and fun activities. The rooms were comfortable and the showers were hot. Would have expected the water bottles to be included but that was the only flaw.

We booked a night on Le Journey. The booking process, dealing with Luong was seem-less. She always replied to my questions via what’s app quickly. Now for the cruise….definitely a must if you are coming to Hanoi but it is a very busy, tiring couple of days. We were taken to Halong on a luxury bus but had to do the obligatory stop at a Pearl farm which wasted 30mins. Then when we arrived at the terminal, waited about 30 mins to board a tender to be taken to Le journey which was about 30-40 mins ride away. When we finally boarded the boat, we were drip fed a lunch of several courses for over an hour while I guess they were still preparing the rooms. Lunch was terrible- mainly seafood (they do cater for all dietary requirements) but fortunately the other meals were much better. Our rooms were very spacious and lovely, we had a balcony to enjoy the stunning scenery. After an hour we went kayaking. This was fun and beautiful. Once we returned, we had happy hour and dinner which was great. The next day at 7am we were taken on a smaller boat ride through a cave, taken back, served brunch and then we were off and heading back to Hanoi. All in all, I found it quite rushed and not enough time to enjoy our room. We would have liked more swimming time- some boats we could see people swim off but we weren’t allowed and all in all we were on the boat for less than 24 hours. Tony and James were very helpful and all staff extremely friendly managing to chat to us via google translate.

That is pity we can not get 5 star rating from your review. But to be honest, your review is the huge motivation for us to do business. Next time, we recommend you should do 3 days 2 nights so you will have more time relaxing and swimming in Halong Bay. Because on second, you will have full day explore Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay not busy like first day. We hope that we will welcome you again in the nearest future.

A ÉVITER !!!!!! Publicité mensongère !! Nous avons réservé sur booking une chambre dans un bateau avec piscine : pas de piscine !!!! Ils vous pressent du début à la fin. Partis à 13h30 au lieu de 11h30 par contre revenu à 11h au lieu de 12h !!! Pas de temps pour nous, presse pour le Check out ils toquent plusieurs fois à la chambre avant l’heure du Check out. Pas de sourire, pas de d’amabilité. Et pour couronner le tout, comme on a ralé, ils nous ont enlevé la réservation pour éviter un sale commentaire sur booking !!!! Une honte !!!!!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience about your trip in Halong Bay with Le Journey Cruise. We are so sorry to hear that 2 days 1 night tour wasn’t as expected. But we would like let you know that we are from Authentic Hanoi Travel and we support tourist arrange cruises to Halong Bay. We also already checked again and found you did not book Le Journey Cruise with us. You wrote a bad review to our product like this and it is not good for our business and it is not fair to us , you know.
Before your bad review, You can see we have very good reviews for arrange good quality boat with great service for our guests. And we have never cheated customers for booking wrong boat as you said on feedback.
Please help us check again the name travel agent you booked this tour because there are so many travel agents in Hanoi Old Quarter Area. We suggest, after the tour, you should come to the travel agent you booked the tour and let them know about your problem you got on boat on boat and we sure they will refund you money.
In short, we always highly appreciate all customer reviews. And we hope you will have better experience for next time in Halong Bay. Good luck to you !

We booked the 2D/1N package via Travel Sense Asia. Booking process was straightforward with clear information and prompt follow up by Kurt Nguyen, the Travel Consultant. The transport pick up was punctual (0800hrs) and the bus was comfortable for the 3 hr journey.
The cruise itself was very well organized. Our cruise manager was Minh who did a fantastic job explaining the safety instructions and agenda for the day. He was very polite and fluent in English. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It has a balcony which offered great views of the limestone formation. It had basic amenities like a kettle, coffee/tea, mineral water and hair dryer. The crew loaded and off-loaded our luggage so we need not lug them ourselves. Meals were sumptuous (I.e 8-9 small courses of meat and vegetables). They paid attention to the dietary restrictions as well. Alcoholic drinks and other additional beverages are available for purchase. There was no long waiting time for any of the activities. All in, was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience.

One of the best ways to experience the natural beauty of Halong Bay is by taking a cruise. This cruise is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the stunning scenery, explore the natural caves, and adventure through the sea and lakes.
The natural beauty of Halong Bay is awe-inspiring, with thousands of limestone karsts and islets that rise out of the sea like natural sculptures. The serene waters and the mist that envelops the islands create a mystical ambiance that is hard to describe in words. A Halong Bay cruise allows you to take in this beauty at a leisurely pace, with plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, photography, and relaxation.
