We were worried about the rain, but it didn't rain and we enjoyed ourselves. If it had been sunny, we would have been able to see a more beautiful ocean, so that was a pity.
Swimming in the ocean, which was the last activity, was great as it allowed us to forget about the heat.

This is a brilliant trip. Picked up from the hotel and taken to a magical place. I was looked after from Jackie from the start to finish. He was very helpful throughout. My favourite part was the kayaking around the bay. Magical. I highly recommend doing this tour.

One of the best experiences ever. I went solo but still had fun connecting with other people around the world. Mickey was an excellent tour guide that made everything perfect. Every since my trip I have been highly recommending it to my friends. 10/10 would definitely book again.

Our original overnight stay tour was canceled due to bad weather but Daisy from the travel company was super helpful and kept us updated via Whattsapp about the weather situation etc. In the end she managed to get us on this tour instead as soon as boats were going out again so we could still see Ha Long Bay despite leaving Vietnam the following day. We got a refund for the difference the next day too.
The tour itself was well organised, the boat was clean and quite luxurious compared to others we saw around, the guide was great and buffet lunch was really tasty.

The trip is compact and not boring, except that the place where pearls are sold has no air conditioning and is very hot. The other itineraries are very fun and suitable for families, friends or couples.

This was an amazing trip!!! With transportation to and from Hanoi, delicious lunch (with awesome options for vegetarians) and the best guide (Sunny!!), I had the best day!! We got to see so many sights, learn about them and the history, and enjoy time together and separate on the boat! Daisy and Sam (the travel experts) are also incredible and so helpful for everything you may need! Do this trip!!!

Gostei muito de tudo, o passeio de barco na baia de Halong, visita a gruta, o almoço e jantar muito bem servidos com requinte e atendimento dos funcionarios da Athena Luxury-Cruzeiro.
Vale ressaltar o trabalho da guia Beatriz em Hanoi que alem de falar bem o idioma espanhol ,fez que estadía em Hanoi fosse bem aproveitada.

Once we got out of the polluted skies of the city, the islands were magnificent! Greeted by monkeys in a cove, explored inside a cave, climbed steep sets of stairs to a lookout and dipped our feet at a beach. The boat itself was adequate but ended up breaking down on the way back, resulting in a 45 minute delay and having to be towed. Overall, glad we went.

Hi,
The road from Hanoi to Halong Bay is a straight flat road and we use expressway at that moment (it takes around 3 hours and less depending on traffic situation).
If you want to more comfortable, you can choose Luxury option with luxury limousine bus with small group people.

Hi Simon, We have many options for Halong Bay Day Trip from Hanoi.
If your tour go by normal way, the pick-up time is around 07:50 - 08:30am from Hanoi.
If your tour go by express way, the pick-up time is around 08:30 - 09:15am from Hanoi.
And all Halong Bay tours will back via express way, so Halong bay 4 hours on cruise will arrive in Hanoi around 19pm and Halong Bay 5.5hours on cruise will arrive in Hanoi around 20:00 - 20:30pm depend on traffic and your place.
