This was a horrendous cruise. No pick up from hotel occurred. Very disorganised buses, they were late and overbooked. We were taken to a dodgy harbour and put on a boat. Then another bus, left at another harbour with no English speaking guide, or any guide at all. We waited for 1.5 hours to be taken to the cruise boat, which is nothing like the photos. The rooms smelled of smoke and the showers were broken. The food was definitely not like the photos either - mainly rice and questionable meat and carrot. The kayaking was with a lot of other cruise boat tourists, and it was overrun and difficult to enjoy with everyone crashing into each other at low tide. We were taken to a "authentic fishing village" which was clearly just a place to get tourists to buy souveniors. The bike ride to the village was nice, and the only enjoyable thing about the cruise unfortunately. To top it off they don't actually take you to Halong Bay - they say it is too busy so they take you to Lan Ha Bay instead. There was also no tai chi or Ti Top Island at all. I honestly could not wait to get off this cruise.

We are group of 6 people and we found this cruise agent was great, they arranged great tour to Halong Bay. Transfer via highway express was briliant and they treated us with great food at meals on boat. Kayaking was the most amazing activities, the second is caving in Halong Bay. We really enjoyed sunrise and sunset moment on Halong Bay from cruise sundeck and from our balcony as well. Highly recommend this tour.

It was our first time travelling to Vietnam and we were recommended Ha Long Bay from heaps of family and friends - there were so many tour companies to choose from so we bit the bullet and went with James. He was super professional and made our experience very much enjoyable. Would recommend him to anyone looking to have a good time in Ha Long Bay.

We found this trip and booked with james and it was fantastic with transfer to /from Hanoi was included, food , activities: kayaking, taichi, cooking class, fishing squid, sunset party. They also helped to book a private car to airport after our stay in Hanoi. Great holiday !

I booked tour with Jenny, from start to the end, all of things were arranged smoothly and she helped to arrange private car to Hai Phong airport since we had a flight at 2pm, it was brilliant !

Enjoyed cruise trip with many activities included as promised and did biking through Cat Ba island (you should request for a cruise with biking option) and visited local farm was one of the most amazing parts during our time

We plan to arrive in Hanoi on the overnight train from Ho Chi Minh , arriving 05.45 on 18th June. Would we be able to come to a meeting place that morning and join the overnight trip, i believe it sais 08.00 am pick up..but we will not be at a hotel, we would be coming from train station
