HI, we would like to book the tour but we will already be staying in Tam Coc. Is this available>? We do not need to come from Hanoi.

It is do-able to do a day trip from Hanoi if time is limited.. If we were to do it again and had time we would stay a night in Ninh Binh. It is a beautiful city. So relaxed and so many cute places to stay.

We had 4 of us book together and we booked the night before the tour. There was only one other person on the tour and I believe they said if we didn't book he would have been getting a private tour hahaha. So it sounds like there is no minimum :)

On both occasions I did this trip our journey they tailored the vehicle size to the group size. So once a 6 seater as there were 3 of us and the other time a slightly larger minivan as there were 7 of us.

It was a private tour for us! We were the first tour back since the border opened, so not sure if there is more demand now which could change them from being private.
