Excellent opportunity to explore local market and learn to cook local food with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Food prepared was amazing!

We were lucky enough to spend our last night in Hanoi, exploring local food and drink spots with Rose. Rose picked us right up from our Hotel and was warm and inviting from the start! Rose was so knowledgeable about her country’s history and culture, we learned so much more than just about food. Rose was so laid back and able to accommodate anything we needed. We also had a ton of fun learning about her own life! The tour was personalized to our group of four young travelers and the food was better than anything we had tried our whole week in Hanoi. This tour was so worth it and would recommend to anyone looking for a way to try authentic vietnamese food and get away from touristy scams. Looking forward to reconnecting with Rose next time I find myself in Hanoi!!

What an experience!!! We were recommended to do a food tour of Hanoi with Rose by our friends and it did not disappoint! We got to try SO many different dishes that we would not have tried if we didn’t go on this tour and everything was DELICIOUS. We especially enjoyed visiting the local market and tasting the fresh fruit from the stall. Left feeling very full and content ☺️ Rose is so incredibly lovely and speaks amazing English too. Would definitely recommend 🥰

Rose is more than just a trained chef and cooking instructor. She is a wonderful insightful guide who truly cares about your experiences and perceptions of her homeland. “Aims to please” does not capture it. She goes above and beyond.

Amazing food tour experience with Rose. She is such an awesome person to be with and take you around to the best street food places in Hanoi. She was also able to adapt to our needs and wishes!

We truly enjoyed our time with Rose and Rolls with Locals !
We had a fun and educational tour of Hanoi city history, food and markets. Then we prepared and enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese dinner with our host - an experience we will never forget !
Rose is passionate about her work - she listens carefully to her customers and provides them with exceptional service. She took care of us from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left Hanoi - we will miss her.
