We booked a trip to the Mekong Delta with Tu and it was our favourite day of our entire trip to Vietnam! Tu is very kind and open to answering any questions you may have, he is very knowledgeable about the area and knows many interesting facts. He took us on a wonderful boat ride on the Mekong where we also got to visit some local farms and a local market. He organised an incredible lunch for us which was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Overall, we couldn't recommend booking a tour with Tu more - it was truly a 10/10 experience!!

Thien was fantastic - not only she is knowledgeable and friendly, but also her insights into the history and culture she shared along the way were deeply interesting and we learned so much. We loved every element of the tour. You can really see how carefully everything is planned and we barely saw any other tourist throughout the time. The Tuk Tuk ride through a village and quiet rowing boat ride are absolutely fantastic. But the true highlight for us was the moments we shared with the local people - the two ladies at the rice paper place and the weaving family. Thien really made us feel like a part of their families/friends and we will never forget these moments. Truly special. We really also appreciate that Thien endeavours to work with the local people and people in the tourist industry in a meaningful way and to help them. Thank you so much Thien for letting us have such an authentic and special time. Please send our gratitude to the rice paper maker ladies and the weaving family for accepting us and for sharing a time with us. All the drivers, rower and people who helped us were extremely nice and professional. We wholeheartedly recommend the tour to anyone who is looking to have an authentic experience, while being professionally guided by an outstanding guide. It’s worth every penny!

Thien is awesome. Very knowledgeable, took care of my kids well. Took us to spots that other tourists weren’t aware of. This tour was the highlight of South Vietnam for us. Got to interact with locals whole basket weaving and making rice paper. Can’t say enough good things about Thien.

We had an unforgettable day tour to the Mekong Delta, and much of it was thanks to our amazing guide, Tu. From the moment we met him, Tu was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clear that he is a true "local" with a deep knowledge of the area. He patiently answered our endless questions with enthusiasm, making us feel completely at ease throughout the trip.
Tu's English was excellent, which made communication smooth and enjoyable.
A special highlight of the day for me was the lunch. Although it was an additional cost, it was absolutely worth it! The food was incredible.

Loved this four. Very helpful and informative. Educated us a lot on what life is like in the Mekong Delta. The drive is long but worth the trip

Ted is an exceptional tour guide! He is incredibly friendly and informative! The tour of the Mekong Delta was excellent and all stops and various methods of transport were well coordinated. He also included some special stops, such as a tour of a local school. He gave us tons of information about Vietnam and recommendations outside of the tour. He even made us a dinner reservation for that night! I would highly recommend him and will absolutely contact him when I return!

We spent the day with Thien on a private tour to the Mekong Delta and it was fantastic. Thien is so knowledgeable and passionate about her country, shared some amazing stories and happily answered any questions we had. Thien is expert at taking you to less touristy areas where you can get a real sense of how the people live. There were many highlights, but the stand outs were lunch cooked just for us by a local family at their home and a visit to another local family home to see how they weave sleeping mats. We even got to have a go at weaving ourselves!
Thien tailored the day perfectly. I would highly recommend this tour with Thien as your guide. We loved our time immensely and booked another private tour with her to the Cu Chi Tunnels which was also brilliant.

We booked a day trip to the Mekong delta one day in advance. We liked to look of the trip offered by WithLocals.
We had the most fantastic day in a large part due to Huyen. She was really good fun to be with and hugely informant and informative.
She kept us away from the throngs of tourists and gave us a slightly more personalised trip with 3 different modes of transport in the heart of a coconut plantation.
It was a memorable day and Huyen was the perfect host.

We had the pleasure of Ted as our tour guide for this day trip, Ted is very friendly and a wealth of knowledge about life and sights of Mekong and Vietnam in general. We even visited his home village. This tour and Ted ticked all our boxes for this adventure, highly recommended.

Our trip with Thien to the Mekong Delta was amazing, and one of the highlights of our trip. She was great with our daughters (ages 10 and 12) and truly a delight to be around. She was flexible with start times and itinerary, offered helpful suggestions, and even found, and stopped by a good pharmacy so we could get, the antibiotic that my husband’s doctor recommended he take to deal with a stomach issue. I would highly recommend Thien for any touring you want to do in the HCM City area.

Wir möchten gern am Mittwoch 12.2.20 einen Ausflug zum Mekong-Delta buchen und eine kleine Rundfahrt durch Saigon. Wir kommen mit MeinSchiff 6 im Hafen an.

Shows from R770,41 on the site but is over R2000 per person when I try to book?! More than a little misleading and similar tours on trip advisor for half the price?

Hi we want to book for the sat 14 th of July for 4 adults.
Are you able to pick us up from the appatment I have booked in district 4 ? Ben Van Don

Hi, I would like to book to do a tour on 16th June, however don't agree with paying full price for my 1 and 4 year old children. Could you please advise. If so, I'll book elsewhere.
