I tried making a booking for airport transfer for a group of 8, was trying to communicate through messenger and their website. Very little response and could never get them to make the booking actually happen. Waste of time. If you want business, do better.

Easy to communicate with. Our flight was running late, however they kept in contact once we landed to ensure we were at the right collection point.

Prompt and friendly staff and drivers used. Our flight was delayed as usual and after a quick messages they adjusted the booking time without question.

Communicated via WhatsApp but whoever supposed to pick us up was late. The driver was even much later. Like another reviewer commented, we could have taken a taxi or Grab during that more than 10 mins’ wait.
HCMC’s traffic is busy, but there’s no excuse when you’re charging a premium & yet made your ctmrs stand in the heat to wait for long time for the driver.
When we left fr Hotel to Airport, we arranged Grab & it cost 1/3 of the price.
Would not recommend.

I am Tony from Saigon Phoenix Car Rental.
Thank you so much for your feedback with our services and your experience on that trip.
I am writing to express my sincerest for the inconvenience and bad experience that we have caused you. I understand that we have let you down and we take full responsibility for the mistake that was made.
To make up for your bad experience on this trip, we confirmed that our team was waiting in front of the exit way with the sign and kept in touch with you during time since you were boarding, you landed well and been waiting your luggage inside the airport. When you came out, you did not find him/her, I believe our team was getting other guests to the car and my driver and came back with you in few minutes.
Just in case you met our team at arrival terminal, the driver had to drive from the parking car or outside to the pickup place, sometime our cars stuck by the traffic or many cars which parking around us. So you wait the driver and car around 10 mins.
On the other hand, let me confirm about our airport pickup service:
We have providing private car with driver from Tan Son Nhat airport to city center, not a taxi or Grab services. So our cost is higher than. You could take a Grab easily from the hotel to the airport. But the way else so busy, get longtime and taxi scam in the airport. If you do not happy with our services, you can discuss with us directly and request the refund. Or you can request the return trip to the airport by other costs.
Finally, I really understand your feeling about the trip. Been spending long-flight, been waiting for moving from the plane to the arrival terminal then continue wait for immigration or collect the luggage. That is really not good for waiting us again after that process.
I hope you feel good after left us the review and kind understanding after reading my response.

My flight was delayed and I took a long time coming out. The communication was amazing. The driver was very respectful and I can highly recommend this service. It was awesome. I’ve booked three trips with them now.

Since it was my first trip to Ho Chi Minh City alone, I had the option of taking a Binathan taxi or grabs as the Flights were night flights, but I wanted to get to the hotel safely, so I made a Reservation for a transfer. As you can see in the video, the airport was very crowded and hot when I found a piece of paper with my name on it at the exit. One thing I noticed during my stay was that there were so many people snatching taxis. I'm glad I asked you to pick me up because tripping on the first day would ruin my trip.

The purpose of this review is to inform about airport transfers in general. You may have read in various reviews about getting scammed by taxi drivers, which is fair. On this trip we took a taxi once from the airport and were charged about 4 times the normal fare. Fortunately, it was still less than what we would have paid for a transfer in advance. Some ways of preventing unscrupulous behavior by cab drivers is (i) download a translator app to talk to the driver in Vietnamese, (ii) if you have data, map the route to your destination and track your route. In fact, if you show the driver you are tracking, they may be less inclined to 'take you for a ride' and (iii) finally you can use a ride share app like Grab which will tell you about the fare in advance. You may have to wait and walk to a different pick-up location. Our rides from HCMC to airport were generally in the range of USD 4 - 6.
The specific airport transfer we booked was great in coordinating the pick-up on WhatsApp. They had a name placard and responded to messages. The vehicle unfortunately was not quite cool. It had a broken door that only the driver could manage. Even though airconditioned, it was not cool and had to request the driver to turn it down some more. When you arrive at a new city, you generally like to check out the surroundings. The seats were reclined so far back that you had to literally lie down. Nevertheless, we were delivered to our destination without much other fuss.

By the way, let me confirm about our airport pickup service:
We have providing private car with driver from Tan Son Nhat airport to city center, not a taxi or Grab services. So our cost is higher than.
Our staff will text the guests before 1 day through WhatsApp, follow your flight, hold the sign with guests ' name in front of the arrival terminal and guide them to our car.
Then our drivers will drive the guests from the airport to city center by private suv cars like Toyota Innova, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Xpander or Huyndai Starex minivan (your car on last trip).
We have done your trip on midnight (Flight NH891 landed at 9:25 pm and we have met you around 11:00 pm) without much other fuss as your confirm above but we do not know the reason why you put 3 star for our service.
We hope you will review and give us a fairer and more authentic assessment of our services.

We booked this airport to hotel transport based on previous reviews and it was great. Communication over WhatsApp was perfect and the guy was outside with my name on the board as soon as we came out of the airport. Great experience and would recommend.

Very patient and helpful when flight was delayed along with long line in customs! Would highly recommend choosing Saigon Airport private transfer. Will definitely call in the future for transportation.
