Emin was a wonderful guide and gave us a very enjoyable wine tour. My girlfriend and I were the only ones on the tour, and we went to three independent local wine bars around the city centre where we tried around three to four different wines each. Emin led us around the city, sharing facts about the architecture, and we even stopped for a local Lavash bread before arriving at the first bar. Emin helped us choose wine depending on our palates, and then explained how to taste the wine properly to get all the notes and flavours. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and their history, and we also chatted a lot about Azerbaijani culture and customs. He was extremely friendly and good-natured, and it felt like sitting with a friend. He continued with the tour even after the time slot had finished to ensure that we had a good time, and at the end he showed us a local underground restaurant for dinner. It was by far the best experience of our trip, and we cannot recommend Emin and his wine tour enough!

Emin chose 3 outstanding wine bars to visit for tastings. A truly lovely experience to enjoy Baku as a local! Many thanks to Emin for his excellent work. And I forgot my glasses in one bar, and he sorted the issue. Cheers!

I was the only person on the tour - Emir ran the tour despite me being the only person (it was off season). He showed me two really good wine bars - if there had been more people we’d have gone to a third but I had already been to the third one. He was knowledgable and friendly and his English was good. Would recommend.

Emin was a great host — he knows a lot about wines, and was very helpful in providing insightful tips on selection, variety, history, culture, taste, smell, and notes. He’s also a wonderful conversationalist which is a bonus. We went to 2 wine bars in Old Town but he’s very flexible with your preference in wines and food, and suggests places that have great service and range while also keeping in mind your personal choices on how much you want to see, how many places you want to try! I loved the signature pomegranate wines he introduced me too, and also picked up a bottle to bring home! He’s also very kind and ensured I safely found a ride and had departed, which was considerate since I was a solo female traveller. Overall, an unforgettable highlight of my Azerbaijan trip!

We did a wine tasting tour with Emin and it was a really fun and insightful experience. We have been wine drinkers for a long time but we gained a lot of information on this tour and thoroughly enjoyed Emin’s company. This trip is definitely recommended.

Emin is nice, attemptive and very acknowledged with the culture of Azerbaijani wine, and the city of Baku. He knows some nice bars, and recommend for nice restaurants and spots to visit.

This tour was awesome! We went to a couple really cool wine bars and tried lots of local wines. Along the way, Emin pointed out historical buildings and gave good information about the city. I love the local wines and also went to the store to buy some! I highly recommend this tour for anyone that loves wine!

We had a great time listening to expertise and tasting different wines we usually would not have tried. The guide was very friendly and answered all our questions.

This tour is a MUST do while in Baku! We went as a couple and we loved every minute of it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the countries local wines and we had great conversations with him. We are so happy we went on this tour!

I made a request for the wine tour Saturday evening, at night, and early in the morning got an approval of the tour and detailed information about the tour: meeting point, transportation tips, up-to-date info about COVID.
I had my tour at 31 July 2021 and due to the Covid-19 it was individual (not group tour as usual).
We went to the wine tasting to some nice bar. My interest was about local wines, I tried the ones made of pomegranate and raisins that were recommended by Emin. This bar is very good in terms of price-quality criteria, also has pleasant interior design. The bar has the range of Azerbaijan wine which is only presented there (this was also a comment from my Baku friends after the wine tasting).
I had a good time with Emin, I liked the wine (I wish to taste more but I have my limits :P). He loves Baku, knows the city very well and ready to share this knowledge. I got also recommendations on where to go and what to eat.
We spoke both Russian and English.
Definitely recommend tours with him!
