We highly recommend this trip when you don't have much time, but still want to see a bit more of the country outside of Baku. It involves a lot of driving, but it's a varied programme and you get to see some lovely sights.
Communication via Whatsapp was very smooth with Travelway, as well as with our driver/guide Anar, who was excellent.

A tour full of beautiful landscapes, lots of history and a guide who is super knowledgeable about the history of the country and the places. He was of great help and company.

I gave 2 reviews as the driver, Rustam, as he drove safely and he made sure that I was okay here and there even tho he was super busy with his phone calls. He also treated me for Azerbaijan tea and taught me how locals enjoy it.
1. The tour listed that I will get a tour guide, then the company assigned a tour guide, but the minute I met the guide, he told me that he is actually a driver not a tour guide. Throughout the journey he tried his best to give me information, but that's not the service u expected from paying this much money. He reads the information on the spot or even asked me to read from wikipedia. As comparison, I use other tour agency for a day trip only but I got a lot of information there. Even for Sheki Khans Palace, I have to hire a tour guide even tho I went there with "a tour guide". In a nutshell, the attitude he possesed was a local driver, not a tour guide.
2. The tour listed lunch as excluded, I thought it was only for the bill, but no...the lunch itself was excluded from the itinerary for two days in a row. That shows that the company doesn't really care for the guest as a person. My driver and I were starving. In fact, my driver was being grateful when I asked him to join me for dinner because he already prepared to starve till back to Baku.
3. The company didn't give out the scheduled timeframe to the driver, only a list of places as the driver shown me the text from the company in Whatsapp chat. This causing us fail to visit the Albanian Church at Gabala (replacement for Church of Kish) on time. We arrived there but it's closed. Also, the tour listed 7 tombs and Diri Baba Mausoleum but we didn't visit those 2 places.
4. Usually companies they have business account or at least more specific profile, but the company reached out to me in a personal account without any kind of identification in his profile. He uses Azerbaijan flag as profile picture, and re-write the number for the profile name. Looks suspicious, thankfully the driver is using his own profile picture with his fullname attached on his profile, and nice as a person.
5. Things I mentioned above is aimed for the company, for the thing that can be improved from the driver: please don't forget a customer is a customer, we pay for the tour service. Keep improving yourself👍

One of the best trips that we have ever had in our life. Our guide, Rustam was one of the best that we ever had. He was humble, knowledgeable and engaging throughout the trip. Because of him, we not only covered the locations mentioned in the itinerary, but also got an opportunity to interact with local people, cuisines, art and culture. We wish the very best to him and to you for making our trip a memorable one.

I enjoyed this tour so much! Vahid was a great guide and was very knowledgeable about everywhere that we went. I loved that there were so many places included in the itinerary all along the way to Sheki. Also the hotel in Sheki was very nice and was located with beautiful scenery all around. Definitely a highlight during my vacation!

This was my second tour with this company. The guide has very unique rare knowledge about Baku and Azerbaijan and has many useful recommendations. I realized once again what a right choice I made. The guide is very cultured, experienced, knowledgeable and a master of his work and loves what he does. I was very satisfied with the tour, everything was great. I would recommend those who want to choose this tour to choose this tour without any hesitation.

We booked this tour to Sheki with a English guide, several weeks in advance. A few days before, the company contacted us to confirm that everything was ok and letting us know that our guide would contact us the day before the tour.
The day before the tour, the person who was supposed to be our guide contacted us but we weren't able to have a conversation with him neither on a call or texting because he doesn't speak English. I'm not saying he wasn't fluent, I'm saying that we weren't able to understand each other at all.
We wrote the company to explain the situation and they didn't give us any option, explanation or apologie, just cancelled the tour the night before the tour and breaking our planification.
The day before the tour, the person who was supposed to be our guide contacted us but we weren't able to have a conversation with him neither on a call or texting because he doesn't speak English. I'm not saying he wasn't fluent, I'm saying that we weren't able to understand each other at all.

We booked this tour at the last minute after another tour company cancelled on us 24hours before. Emin was very helpful organising and arranging the tour which took us to many places outside of Baku. Our driver, Rustam, spoke excellent English, was incredibly accommodating and kind and worked really hard to ensure we enjoyed our time. We travelled to many places on the way to Sheki and it was a wonderful experience to be able to see some of Azerbaijan outside of the hustle and bustle of Baku. There was a fair amount of driving as Sheki was a long way away but the stops were well timed and spread out, the car was very comfortable and air conditioned and Rustam kept us entertained with good conversation and music. The hotel we stayed in was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed all of the sights, especially The mausoleum and Sheki Khans Palace. Thank you!
