The first part of the tour is about 30 km of biking through villages and rice fields. This was a wonderful experience and it felt like we got a very unique perspective on the Cambodian countryside.
Second stop was at a temple where we unfortunately felt very unwelcome by the locals who were hanging around and sleeping in the temple. We quickly left as we felt quite uncomfortable and did not want to disturb.
Third stop is for lunch at a very nice local restaurant, before we were let into the genocidal center where we were given an audio guide. The tour guide and our driver was waiting outside as we explored the killing fields.
After about 1,5 hour we met up with our guide again and they took us back to our hotel. Our guide was very kind and tried his best to be helpful but unfortunately he did not speak English very well. There is no guided tour in the killing fields, but that is probably for the best as the audio guide is great and it gives you well needed time to reflect at your own pace.
In all we and a pleasant day and we’re quite content. However, considering the guides broken English and the quite expensive price I think and average score is fair. If possible, I would recommend only doing the biking part, which really was fantastic, and then visiting the killing fields on your own, without a tour.

Dear Larso,
Thanks very much for your choosing us for the bike tour to Killing Field and Paddy Rice Field and give a useful information that help our guide to improve his English more as much as the knowledge as well.
Well, that a hard time to recovery after the covid that most of the guide they did not practice his English speaking and somewhere they are back to live at the homeland like me.
Otherwise, through your choosing us that is a great way to help us a lot include give us a job and help us to improve more and more of English speaking.
For a last part of the tour that we using the audio tour instead because it will help to customers getting more information where they can select to listen based on their language and so on, we do apologize you for any inconvenient that happen during the trip.

We loved the bike ride through the villages and rice fields - saw real Cambodian life as we cycled through. Would recommend this trip

My friend and I had a superb day on mountain bikes with the guide Thong. We started about 30 minutes outside of Phnom Penh and cycled for 35 km mostly on dirt roads and trails, through small villages and through brilliant green rice paddies. The guide was well informed and very caring - we stopped as needed for (included) snacks and drinks and had a great recovery restaurant lunch (also included) before going to the Killing Fields. There was a little mud and some water which made it a GREAT ADVENTURE. I am so glad I did this trip and will repeat it when I return to Phnom Penh again. Thank you Thong for a wonderful day.

Vi ble hentet på avtalt tidspunkt utenfor leiligheten vi hadde leid. Guiden var hyggelig og kunnskapsrik og snakket veldig godt engelsk. Sjåføren kjørte trygt.
Sykkelturen gikk gjennom landsbyer og lokale markeder. Vi besøkte en sopp-produsent og så mange rismarker. Det var en svært varm dag, og sjåføren stilte jevnlig med vannflasker og tilbud om å bli kjørt videre.
Vi spiste en god lunsj utenfor Killing fields, og brukte deretter god tid på området. Tankevekkende og vel verdt et besøk!
Alt i alt var dette en meget bra tur og Mr Thong var en ypperlig guide! Syklene var nye og i god stand, og turen på 32 km i flatt terreng og med lite trafikkerte veier kan gjennomføres av alle med normal kondisjon. Anbefales!

Just wanted to say if you are looking at a bike tour to use then this is the company to use. Organised from the U.K., completely straightforward including payment- then once in Cambodia regular contact. On the day Thong and his wife came to my hotel, picked me and my husband up and took us on a day to remember. I was a bit worried as not ridden a bike for years but had a good level of fitness. Thong offered a 30km cycle or a 37 km one, I could decide which one later in the day. As it happen did the longer route and enjoyed every single minute. Easy, flat cycling with every child you passed wanting to high five you - if that doesn’t put a smile on your face nothing will, after dinner a visit to the Killing fields was a deeply thought provoking experience. Thong was an excellent easy going guide and although I have only been in Cambodia 4 days this could easily be the best day of the holiday - thong it was an absolute pleasure and if I return to Cambodia I look forward to seeing you and your wife again xxx

We were picked up from our hotel and driven out of the capital to the country side full of small villages and rice paddy fields , each village we cycled through the locals would be very friendly with children shouting hello or running with you , our Tour Guides knowledge of the local area was great throughout , at the midway point driver would turn up on route with water and fruit refreshments , then onto a small temple before lunch then onto the Killing Fields

Couldn't have enjoyed my day cycling with my wonderful guide Piseth any more than I did, travelling from Phnom Penh to the killing fields and beyond.
Piseth was an excellent guide having an extensive knowledge of the city, it's history and culture. His insight and understanding added to the sights and sounds of the tour.
Whilst the roads in Cambodia were a little hairy at times Piseth was there to ensure a safe and easy passage through craziness.
He kindly took lots of pictures for me as a solo traveler.
Brilliant tour to experience the history behind the Khmer Rouge and the infamous genocide. Coupled with other stops at points of interest. A good 50 km in the heat of Cambodia meant the trip was certainly a work out. We finished with a ferry crossing and tuk tuk back to the city.
Great communication and excellent value for money.

このツアーの良いところはカンボジアのローカルな雰囲気と人の優しさに感動ができます😎ツアーの内容としては自転車では村や神社を回りそのあと車でお昼、キリングフィールドへ回ります。自転ツアーでは日本とは全く違うカンボジアのローカルな村などの雰囲気をとても楽しめます。キリングフィールドも好きに回れるためカンボジアの歴史やカンボジアの現状を知る上では非常におすすめです。ツアーでは休憩や軽食があり(勿論お昼も、)水もガイドがたくさん持っているので心配ありません💪移動中荷物を車が管理してくれるので簡単な格好で走れます。ガイドさんはとても優しくてシェリムアップの夜行バスまで予定がない私達のために家に招待してくれシャワーと晩御飯まで用意してくれました😌またバスの予約や色々な話をしてくれ、英語が伝わらなくてもグーグル翻訳などを使ってくれるため英語が苦手な私達でも簡単にコミュニケーションを取れその時間はとても楽しい時間でした✨

Thong is heel enthousiast en aardig. We hebben erg genoten van de trip. De fietstocht vonden mijn dochters wel erg lang (zadelpijn), maar was leuk door alle dorpen heen.
Ik vond het wel best prijzig, zeker als je in andere plaatsten ziet wat het kost om een fiets te huren. Lunch en entree Killingfields (USD 6 PP) waren erbij inbegrepen, maar drankje bij lunch moesten we wel weer zelf betalen.

Dear Pam,
Thanks again for your quick reply and inquiry. Well, based on the experience, if some people in group they had a problem during the journey, we could hire Tuk Tuk or call to our support vehicle to pick them up. Moreover, we will use our vehicle to support the group the whole trip, if some of them feel can not do completely. Purified drinking water, some fruit and stop some places for relax and refreshing are available for this journey.
