We had a 6 day holiday in Sri Lanka for our honeymoon. Unfortunately we arrived on the day that curfews had been imposed which limited our itinerary.
Our driver and guide Krishan was professional, polite and kind. The only thing we could fault was some of his historical knowledge (for example repeated pointing out locations that Queen Victoria visited, despite the fact she never travelled to Sri Lanka)
We were still able to enjoy our time, the highlight being the safari in Yala, staying in the leopards nest tree nest. We would recommend Krishan and Beyond Escapes

Nous recommandons beyond escape sans hésiter !
Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable grâce à une logistique impressionnante : excursion fidèle au descriptif.
Nous avons été agréablement surpris par le choix des hôtels ainsi que les visites des sites touristiques qui étaient organisées de façons à ce que nous y rendions lorsqu'il y avait le moins de monde possible tout en respectant notre rythme.
Notre chauffeur guide Kumara est une perle, à l'écoute et aux petits soins pour nous. Malgré notre anglais vraiment pauvre nous avons eu des discussions avec beaucoup d'humour.
Des échanges par whatsapp avec la société a facilité notre départ mais qui a également facilité la suite de notre séjour au sri Lanka.
Bonne continuation à eux !

We travel....a lot, and this was an epic adventure! What we saw was amazing but even more impressive was the logistics behind our travel. Our trip was flawless. All the transportation and local guides were on time and extremely nice. Our main guide Nayomi were very special and wonderfully knowledgeable and went out of her way to make our trip special. I will highly recommend Active Adventure to everyone.”

Sehr gute Organisation, von Transfer über Englischkenntnisse (teilweise deutsch) und kompetenter Reiseführung.
Unterbringungen/Hotels ohne Beanstandungen mit teilweise grandiose Ausblicken. Tolle Natur, sehr interessante Einblicke in Geschichte Sri Lankas und bestehender Religionen inklusive Besichtigungen von Tempeln, Klöstern u.a. Viewpoints. Bei richtiger Auswahl des Anbieters, sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr angenehmes Land mit netten Menschen. Bedenklich offenbar die derzeitige Sicherheitslage.

Beyond Escapes people are reliable, responsible and very flexible in their services. We booked this tour with this company and received 100% support and timely response from ms. Dulani. She was supportive and always available if there were any questions, everything went perfectly.
Our driver Dinesh kept us safe during the road trip from pick up and was a wealth of knowledge guy and personal interest about the sites. I would not hesitate to use these guys again, they enable us to see so much in a short time. Hats off for these people.

Two months before the tour, I was looking for a good travel agency to spend our vacation in Sri Lanka. Finally I stumbled on to Beyond Escapes and I read some of the reviews that they were very good, could be relied on etc etc and that is what finally convinced me. We got a great driver with good knowledge not only of Sri Lankan culture and monuments but also streets, best practices and offered good advices. He always asked customers first and offered options without taking any decision or trying pushing to specific places. I am really satisfied with the service. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you.

I booked this tour with Beyond Escapes to explore the Sri Lanka with my friends. We went to Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya over 6 days.
Our driver made the trip memorable as he always made sure we were comfortable everyday. He is a very nice person and safe driver, 3-4 long hours driver felt short as he frequently jokes around and told us some information about the places we went to. Overall the trip was wonderful

This was our second tour with Beyond Escapes and we had no hesitation to use their service again. We booked this tour through online just like the last time and we received 100% support from Dulani throughout the journey.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained all with a passion. We learnt a lot from him about Sri Lanka and its culture. He knew all the best places for photos in the sites and he made these historic buildings come alive to us. We really enjoyed this tour and we have no regret to recommend them to others.

We are very please with the prompt and organized service we received from Beyond Escapes and driver Dinesh. He provided us with important of the sites and everyday he offered suggestions on local restaurants and cafes when we needed. We have to say we had no regret on his restaurant suggestions since they were very clean, good food and almost all of them were nice ambiance. Very quickly, he learnt our preference on sightseeing, restaurants and timings. Local foods are the best part of our tour. Thank you very much for your service.

I am planning a trip to Sri lanka for 3 adults. We would like to see a mix of history and nature and visit a tea plantation. We would like to include a week of travelling around and a week staying on the coast scuba diving and snorkling. We would like an idea of cost if we stay in good hotels.
