Amazing day trip to Kandy.

I had a great time touring Dalada Maligawa, Peradeniya gardens, Pinnewala elephant sanctuary and the Kadugannawa tea factory.

Thanks to Janaka my tour guide who was very knowledgeable of the locations and their history. I had a great time.

Perfect Day Trio from Colombo to Kandy
Our driver/guide, Kalika, provided us with a lovely day trip from Colombo to Kandy (& back again). Yes, it is a long day, but well worth the time & effort, especially if your time in Sri Lanka is limited. Kalika worked with us to tailor the itinerary to meet our preferences. Our stop for breakfast & then bats & monkeys helped to break up the long trip up. Once in Kandy, we visited New Girigama Tea for a tour; the beautiful palace complex, especially Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic & we’re lucky to see the elephant; took a wonderful walk through the Udawattakele / Royal Forest of Kandy; climbed to the top of the Buddha statue, Sri Maha Bodhi Maha Viharaya, and saw amazing views of the city & surrounding mountains; & a final stop at The Island Spice Grove. We bought “to go” food for the long drive home & bananas to take with us on our ship. Long wonderful day with an expert guide. Hope we can return some day.

Its an amazing trip but be careful

Everything was amazing all the places we went to are really nice except the herbs place, it is a total scam and really expensive, don't let them fool you to buy anything. Other than that it was amazing, i got to ride and feed the elephants. And went to the Buddha temple as well.

Day tour from Colombo to Kandy

Must see city in Sri Lanka

We had a really nice trip to Kandy! Our tour guide, Aaron, set up a tour of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic which was very informative. We also had a tour of a tea factory complete with tea tasting! And we made an impromptu stop at an elephant sanctuary. We had a really wonderful day thanks fo Apple Vacation and Aaron! Would recommend!

The best experience!

Kandy was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Aron made this trip unforgettable. It was a long day but we truly accomplished a lot. The temple was just beautiful, food selection was great and Aron even made a stop for us to see elephants!! That was the best part of this trip. totally recommend this trip to whoever is visiting Sri Lanka!

Thank for your Flexibility to customize the tour. vehicle were more then Comfortable What was expected. i have finish tea factory , Pinnawala (Optional Arrangement) ,Temple Of tooth, Botanical Garden & Herb shop within the day.

Professional service and Best rate
We admire and love this tour alot. But ensure that you have comfortable walking shoes and other suitable dress code which covers shoulders and lower part of the legs as well. We visited all the temples and received a maximum possible information regarding the places. But i am damn sure if you fail to travel through a travel agent/guide definitely you will be loosing the major part of your journey.

Tooth relic, a very unique place that you must spend some time when you visit kandy. It is an popular ancient Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka which added more value to our journey. It is well maintained and precious enough to pray and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

I suggest not to visit Pinnawala orphanage during the Kandy day tour . Driver also suggested the same. But Still i visited there because of my friends' comments. It's really sad to reveal that the place is crucial and harmful towards the elephants.

Herble garden was very much informative and benefitable in both medical and health side.

Finally i would say the service is fantastic and reasonable for the price which cannot be compare to another professionals in the market. Well done. CHEERS TO APPLE VACATIONS!
